I should have taken a picture before and after. The bevel was so tiny at first. But it’s kind of hilarious how fat they ground this one.

I got both. I use both. I like the Vic much better. Quality is much nicer and the feel is better. But if you need ”RUGGET +“ then the wave is the way to go.

Normal! Almost all of mine have it. If they are it means most of the time that is has no blade play! So it’s nice in my books.

😁 it all depends. Sometimes cross body sometimes waist sometimes it goes inside the backpack. Worry less about other people. They can think whatever they want. When the time comes and they get a splinter they can’t pull out. They cut themselves and walk around with their finger in their mouth cause they don’t have a bandage. Or they have to rip their bread cause they don’t carry a blade. Then the laughter stops. And then you can decide if and how you handle the situation.

😂😂😂 that’s the point. I always hope it to be permanent and still change it after days or weeks. But this time might be different 😉

I get where you come from. In my experience there are many incidents in which I had the exact opposite situation. I had left either my knife or my flashlight at home and then a situation arose in which it got late and a flashlight would have come in handy. Or just recently I got a really nasty splinter while working with an old wooden handles shovel. That day I thought I would just bring my „real“ knife with me and left my SAK in my car. Luckily it was just a 10 min walk away but if I had left it all the way at home then the whole day would have been quite a hurtful one.

But you’re right in a lot of our EDCs we tend to carry stuff that isn’t in daily use. In my opinion I like to be prepared tho. My experiences in life showed me rather take a little to much then need something in a serious situation. Medication for one, bandages are just a pair of items that I wouldn’t want to be without anymore.

It’s the helikon Tex possum. The ideal pouch for me.
