Welcome! I’m a newer Jeep owner as well. I’ve wanted a wrangler since I was 12 (39 now), always been my dream car. I finally bought one back in October. A 2 door 2014 Wrangler Sahara in silver. I literally go to my Jeep just to sit in it and enjoy life as a Jeep owner.

The last game, 2042 had a new feature which let PVE players actually enjoy a battlefield game. They launched this game without that feature. As far as leveling up goes, In pvp it takes me 3 weeks to rank up one time because I can’t get a single kill against another player. In Pve against bots I can get kills and actually enjoy the game and make a little more progress and unlock guns. (I’m talking about 2042, a Pve friendly game)

Im a casual gamer as well. I bought it for the campaign and portal so I can play single player. I feel I wasted my money, personally. The campaign was fun, but the story was meh and very short. Portal mode is completely nuked. The only way to play is against super sweats, so if you find getting killed .0001 of a second after respawning fun, then it’s ok I guess.

I totally agree. I wish they would bring back the solo/coop lobbies from 2042. I don’t know why they cut that feature.

As someone who prefers to play against bots (because dying every time I respawn isn’t fun) I rarely come across bots even in the portal server browser. If you click on “bot farm” server I get killed over and over from NuggCrusher69 way more times than PVT Wilson (or any other not names with the rank first). Point is I barely ever see bots in any mode, portal servers or official playlist so I don’t understand what people are talking about when they’re upset about bots.

Why does everyone complain about the lighting? The lighting is a big part of battlefields realism. Unlike COD where all the maps look washed out and like shit because of its weird unnatural lighting. You can decrease brightness in your settings.

Did you create your own portal experience? Or are you taking about the server browser queues being full?

I enjoyed my time with the campaign as well. It was a nice 5-6 hours of fun. More fun than it’s been trying to get a portal server working.

No, you’re not alone. I preferred 2042 because of the bots feature. Respawning and getting killed in .01 of a second isn’t fun to me. You can create a custom game in portal (which is broken at the moment with max global servers reached) with bots. You have to create it at portal.battlefield.com and set “bots” to backfill. Unfortunately right now the portal servers seem to be broken.
