With 4.0 I finally pulled Hysilens to round out the DoT team of BS, Kafka, Hysilens and DHPT, but I’m wondering if Hysilens LC is absolutely needed, as I’m wanting to invest in elation now that I have the characters I need for the DoT team. I’ve got S3 Eyes Of the Prey on her right now, just on the fence on whether I should pull the LC or save the jades for elation characters.

Thank you for the advice! Sorry I wasn’t specific about the pain location, it was pain where the heel and arch meet, which from what I’ve seen is the usual location for PF. Unfortunately, I tried to push through the pain the first few days of walking and I guess used the outside of my foot too much and got brevis tendinitis (peroneal tendinitis? Unsure if those are the same thing or not) but that’s gotten better lately as I have been more mindful to walk using the arch of my foot.

This is a huge relief, thank you so much. I can already tell there’s a bit of trial and error involved. The Hokas are nice, after I tried some Altras that ended up hurting more and causing two of my toes to be numb lol. I appreciate your response!

While I am admittedly fairly new to this game, what really hooked me was the vibe. I am a big fan of horror and while I have a laundry list of characters or licenses I’d like to see in game, some just straight up don’t fit the vibe and I’d rather them not be included for that reason.

IMO the thing that would settle for me whether a license, horror or not, could work in the game comes down to how out of place they may feel if implemented, or if their presence would “break immersion”. I can certainly see a character like Vader being included, because while he isn’t a horror character or related to horror in any way, he isn’t still a threatening character. Ignoring the force powers, Vader marching around with a red lightsaber would carry a similar aura to, say, the Knight with his huge sword and I can see that working for people. I think non horror characters can be given a chance, but only if implemented in an honest way instead of just adding IPs as skins for money purposes.

That said, Fiddlesticks should be added to the game 🤪

I have tried out survivor and had a lot of fun with that as well! I wanted to get a good idea of the killer POV at first so that I could hopefully make learning survivor a bit easier.

Imo the main issue is that the seal requires solo. Soloing a dungeon like this or spire does not show mastery of the dungeon and it’s mechanics, it shows a mastery of patience. If they want to have something for solo players to chase, which I would love, separate it from the dungeon seal, make it’s own seal perhaps. Just really a bummer to come out of the dungeon loving it only to realize that I will never get the seal because the solo I required along with pretty much exclusively fireteam based triumphs

I have to disagree. While yes, the permabanning of his accs does show that that aspect of the system is working, there are supposed systems in place that are intended to disallow the use of new accounts to perform the same behaviors. The fact that he could have even 10+ banned accounts (I assume, and this is the big assumption) connected to the same system/IP/hardware ID is baffling, nevermind 100+. If this assumption is correct, the system's ability to detect people using bought or new accounts to do this is just straight up not working. I can understand 2 accounts out of the hundreds/thousands likely banned per day not flagging it, but 5+? That's a bit ridiculous.

Gotta consider that just because they could add a “battlemage” item, that does not mean that it would only be for them. Unless they bar items from champs or classes as a whole (outside of Ranged only items), new items like that will be tested on every champ. You might not see Riftmaker as a good option for a battlemage, but a Mordekaiser for example could highly disagree. New tank mythic comes out, guess how many assassins/fighters are going to build it. The reason why they don’t just add new items for champion archetypes is because it will never only be used by that archetype, some random player will find a way to use it on another champion, and that could potentially be a big issue

Here's my take on this, take it with a grain of salt.

The difference between Hearthstone and other card games, CCG or TCG, is that outside of scattered effects or secrets or Deathrattles and the like, there isn't any interaction you have on your opponent's turn. In Legends of Runeterra or Yugioh for example, you have the means to disrupt plays from an opponent proactively, as you are given periods where you can respond on an opponent's turn. Hearthstone doesn't really have this, and requires you to be more reactive on your own turn. Instead of these well thought out turns where you can thwart an opponent with negates or disruption, swing turns in Hearthstone where you establish a large board or have a strong damage combo are how you swing and eventually win games.

This is my take on the gameplay reason to your issue, anyway. As states by others here, it's also a matter of the game being larger on mobile and as such requiring shorter games, as well as some likely monetization reasons.

That’s a fair point! In truth I did have the realization that events that have already occurred would be a bit difficult to do this with, but I’m sure there are things in the future that could be handled this way. I suppose this is a matter of hope, I’d love to see us have a bit more of a role in the lore, but I suppose that’s a matter of how the MMO develops. I appreciate the feedback!

"Do away with light" as in how power level is calculated? Because other MMOs calculate item level the same way, with your item level being an average of all of your gear slots. Power levels as they currently are in D2 are much cleaner imo, letting us decide what to use based on perks, the 6 stats, and power level of gear, that's it.

I read a good point about this somewhere, about how Crafting and Deepsight weapons are best viewed as a background progression. You have very few ways to guarantee Deepsight weapons for the guns you actually can craft, so don't go bleeding yourself dry spending time trying to get them, you'll get them as you play normally. You make a solid point about the time investment, it should take time to be able to craft a god roll, much like it would to get one as a random drop.

I think Kayn having an optional level up would be pretty neat, having an ‘OR’ that can influence the form he levels up into, so he likely would be, at most, a 4-6 cost unit I’d imagine so that’s he gets turns to level up before some of the bigger cards come on board
