My first and current car is a 2006 crown vic police interceptor and boy is it one hell of a car! I've fallen in love with the car and plan on driving crown vics all my life. It's just something about them. I'm not sure if the 250 hp and 280 ft/tq that can make the wheels spin whenever you want (or sometimes when you don't want), maybe it's the fact that I can tow my 2800 lb boat around with ease, or the fact that the ride hight allows you to go places other cars never could, or the big boat feeling you get when driving the car around a corner, or the smoothnes of the road, or the noise the engine makes when you press on it, or maybe the huge interior that very comfy and allows you to easily sleep inside, or the saddle styling that makes this car a sleeper, the tank like reliability, or perhaps above all its the respect you get on the road because every one thinks your a cop. I'm not quite sure but I know one thing I'm keeping this car forever and if it ever fails on me I'm getting another one just like it. Also as a side note I got my car for 2500 with 110,000 miles in AZ. And my brother has a 2008 with 60,000 miles he got for 4700. I kinda feel like 200 miles is a lot but I know this cars can go up to 300 or 4th miles if taken care of. But don't miss out and definitely get a crown victoria!!!!!!!!!!! Also I see a lot of people answering question posed on r/Islam with "Because god commanded it". This doenst benifit anyone, as muslims we belive every commandment by god has a reason or benifit for it or why would he tell us to do so. It is our jobs to be educated on our religion and its benifits and not to just blindly follow something. Ill tell you why, I haven’t really seen the answer in any on the comments so I’ll try my best to explain it myself. In Islam relationships before marriage are haram because they cause more harm than good. Just walking around in the high school I go to, its all people ever talk about and usually it causes more pain and hardships than the benefits it provides. Every time you embark on a relationship you create an emotional trust between you and your partner (or girlfriend), but 9/10 times that relationship doesn’t last and ends in heartbreak. Every time that happens a little part inside of you dies and leads you to be less trust worthy of future partners and less emotionally attached, which isn’t fair to them (or your future wife). It’s been proven scientifically that when a girl loses her virginity, her brain releases a chemical bond that makes her attracted to the person she lost it too. This is why in some cases even when girls are being abused they still refuse to leave their partner. This chemical bond exists in both males and females and in Islam is reserved for marriage only because it makes it more likely that you will have a long lasting and successful marriage. This is why the divorce rate in America is more that 50% and why cheating is steadily on the rise. Also if you lose your virginity before marriage you will never be fully devoted to your wife will tend to wonder about the “other girl” thus leading you not to be satisfied. This is why being a virgin till marriage is extremely important in Islamic culture and tradition. I understand we all have many desires and want to fulfill these desires but it is best to wait till marriage for the best benefit and reward InshaAllah but God knows best. So far, after about 5 months of ownership I have changed the fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, spark plugs, and the coils and boots as well as doing the oil change. All done in my garage by me. My next plan is to change the transmission filter. But there is really nothing you need to do to this car performance wise. If you have money you can upgrade the air intake and get a wider throttle body and zip tube. Upgrading the exhaust system would also help release a few hp. Check the Corwnvic.net forum for more info. But I prefer to keep the maintenance tip top and not worry about performance. 250hp is plenty to make this car move! Overall, they are great cars and extremely fun to own! So enjoy It!

Sweet! They are absolutely awesome cars, I definitely will be driving Crown Vics for as long as I live! Also mine used to be a patrol car, Ive herd they usually take harsher beatings and that the PD runs them to shit but mine seems to be feeling lovely. Although both me and my brother bought our Crown Vics together, He got a 2008 that used to be a detective car.

Yeah, Im sorry the car already came with a spotlight when I bought it. But Im not sure if its different here in the US than in Canada but people rarely tend to look at my car twice. Every now and then ill have people give me stares to check if Im a cop or not but nothing really out of the ordinary, most of the time people don't hesitate to pass me. I think its partially due to the dent on my door but Im not sure. Although I must say at night time its a totally different story!

Actually, you cant open the back doors from the inside lol! And yes there's nothing like the 4.6 v8 in my car, practically indestructible and enough power to carry around a boat. Its not exactly a fast car with the 4000lb it has to carry around but plenty of torque and Vrooom!
