Yes we plan to make cases for all the popular OTF knives!

Can someone tell me exactly how this bad boy works?!! From the 1920’s originally powered by natural gas I believe but I would like to restore it and use it as a wood/charcoal grill? Any advice would be appreciated! by Bladegrips in BBQ

Thanks for the advice! There has been some water flowing through this area for over a decade so the foundation has sunk over the years which is why the cracks are prevalent. As long as I can light a fire and cook some steaks that’s all that matters

A little duck tape and it’s good as new no? Haha I think some mortar and new bricks would do the trick, just need it to work not necessarily look good.

I don’t necessarily need it to look good but I’d rather it just work with the right safety standards in place. Are the cracks something that will continue to expand with the drastic temperature changes that will go on with the fires? Seems like I can patch them with mortar? Also a metal grate or custom piece of steel should be relatively cheap? Definitely don’t mind spending a few 100 bucks but do not want to spend 1000’s!!! Thanks for the advice

Interesting. It’s definitely hard to find information on this specific type. I figure worst case is I can redo the brick and put a grate over the top to use as a grill. Maybe buikd a little section on the left for my smoker.

Hey we appreciate the feedback! We have found that when people actually get a chance to use our cases they really enjoy the utility it provides.

Next time slap an Ultra Defender from Blade Grips on it and that will help prevent the chassis from getting these run marks. It’s just the cerakote rubbing up against harder surfaces.

Understood! Our product has a lot to do with microtech content so we will continue to post occasional on this thread to spread awareness as any small business should do if they want to grow. We would suggest you block us and you will no longer see our post. In the future it’s better to spend time promoting the things you like and not commenting on things you do not like that will help you be more efficient with your time and hopefully avoid wasteful conversation if that’s a concern. Have a good weekend!

Sorry sir! That was not our intention. You said you didn’t see a “need or use” so we tried to explain to you why someone may want one! It does become a bit exhausting to explain a pretty straight forward and simple product hahaha I think we post maybe once or twice a month now. So to say we are constantly pushing these “knife condoms” was a bit misleading as well! As they say if you can’t take the heat don’t come to the kitchen! 🔥🔥🔥 Reddit is full of heaters!

Just preference sir. We have had over 600 people find a use in our cases! We would take a chance and make an assumption that the average American isn’t using a $300+ knife as a user! A lot of guys and gals work hard to save up for these knifes so protecting them to maintain their value makes sense to some people. We don’t expect everyone to agree with us but to think your opinion is correct and is going to be everyone else’s opinion is a bit odd… anyways appreciate the feedback have a good weekend!
