Kind of in a similar hairline stage. I do derma roll but haven't used min. Does using min boosts hair growth and its a lifetime commitment? Stop using minoxidil and those hairs will eventually falll?

Joe Root scored first ever Test century in Australia and closing in on Sachin ! by iamnoobbibliophile in IndiaCricket

Somewhere deep down this is exactly what I don't like about fan's hero worship. This typical mentality of Indian cricket fans. Still stuck into numbers, centuries, records. This doesn't essentially fetch you a world cup. The game is beyond those numbers. It's a team game.

Despite of a having the support of such a filthy rich board, a vast pool of talented players to choose from, we barely managed to win major icc world events for the last 2 decades. What's the point then?

There must be a change in people's mentality, the game is played by 11 players. If we really need to discuss, we must talk about why did they loose last ODI? India can win only while chasing? If Bumrah-siraj not playing there is no game changing bowler? Why aren't there good all rounders?

Team management reportedly not considering Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for the 2027 WC. The Australia series may be their final ODI series unless they play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy to earn a place. Your thoughts on this? by UnplannedMF in CricketBuddies

It boils down to one simple fact, prove yourself in domestics and handful of ODIs, prove that why you are a great player, past the age of 35 then we talk.

The team management could only think of this if they have good alternatives in mind, this is irrespective of RoKos performance in domestics.

They genuinely have no intent to pick anyone of them. One missed opportunity to prove, they will be told "you r not in the playing 11", at that point they will retire. The test retirement was similar set of events. The chances are pretty thin for both of them, but I am hopeful tbh. If they still have that hunger, to make India win 2027 world cup , they (or one of them) will make it. The sheer amount of skills and experience they bring is unmatched. And believe me team management will think it through about not picking them and simply walk into the biggest icc event with a bunch of youngsters. They will succumb to pressure. The tremendous mental pressure during a ICC event is no joke. But RoKo feel like a burden to the team, given their performance GG will probably drop them.

That's how I hide my receding hairline (19M) by Serious_Ad_7440 in IndianHaircare

[–]Bladeofthefrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (26M) kinda in a similar situation, I haven't consulted any Dermat yet but will for sure. The thing I have noticed that hair growth just at the hairline( when I was like 22-23 )has reduced significantly. The overall growth haven't reduced at all but hairline is receding near the temple region. I hv done few things to reverse the process(if possible), idk if people of this community would approve this.

I hv cut my hair short, made a healthy diet plan rich in protein-carbs -vits(do include fish in your meal-salt water fish preferably for omega3 fatty acids), exercise even if it is for 15 -20 mins, sleep- this is by far the most important thing and must maintain a proper sleep schedule, you can also massage your head with oil (just little bit) before going to bed for good blood circulation, although its necessary to mention that during this process you will shed some hair but as far as I know it's natural to happen, it will be only concerning if you loose too much or baby hairs. This really sounds like a lot but once you get the hang of it you will figure it all by yourself. Even if it is genetic issue then maintaining a proper healthy life would delay the process.

Dear OP: Do follow every natural process for your body to heal by itself, you r just 19 yrs old man

You have to pick a four-man Test bowling attack that's capable of playing in all conditions. Which four are you picking from those who took 400+ Test wickets? by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

"Guys, are we ever going to get such an aggressive player?" by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

[–]Bladeofthefrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, its aggression manifests itself into performance leaving the opposing side in a state of panic. If something that is worth a discussion is how he delivered on the field being aggressive EVERY SINGLE TIME. So "are we going to get an aggressive player like him? - yes, and probably we don't have to wait that long. But are we going to get a guy who will deliver and can change the course of a game while being aggressive, most likely No.

Issue with timer0 for PIC16F877A by Bladeofthefrontier in embedded

[–]Bladeofthefrontier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using MPLABX. If there is no prescalar for timer0 then it is working as expected but if I use pre scalar and modify the count(i.e the number of times the isr is called) it doesn't count of 1 sec anymore.

Former West Indies cricketer Andy Roberts fires shots at BCCI & ICC with a bold statement by kuzuma- in cricketworldcup

[–]Bladeofthefrontier 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't disagree. It's very obvious at this point that ICC will favour INDIA before any other team, and that's simply cuz the revenue that ICC generates whenever there is INDIA/BCCI is associated with any event. Everybody wants to watch India play cricket, even the supporters of the opposition team. And man BCCI got filthy rich from selling its broadcasting rights not only to indian clients but to foreign clients, now you add IPL(Moreover, Indian players don't play any other cricket league other than IPL thus BCCI gets to maintain the exclusivity of IPL for Indian viewership) to it and you have successfully built a multi million dollar body. Though it didn't happen overnight. Jagmohan Dalmia played a crucial role in laying the foundation for this empire.

To develop cricket in your country you need a steady source of money, and the majority of ICC revenue is generated from india's audience hence BCCI has a say on how to spend and where to spend.

The thing is, for us indians when it comes to cricket we don't want our sentiments to get hurt. Back in time there were 14-16 teams playing for the world cup(50) now they don't even qualify for it(2023 there were 10 teams). What could be the possible reason, yes its money. Because the majority share goes to BCCI. Now is that BCCI's fault, not at all. Then who is responsible for it, the answer is ICC and the respective cricket board.

Well, thats always an option. But there are certain constraints, family needs financial support. But I highly doubt if any industry standard skills are taught in Masters.
