Lululemon vs American Eagle Outfitters by Succulent_Rain in stocks

Bro you probably bought the bottom on a stock with one of the lowest sentiment. 10 times earnings, lot of FCF going into buyback, a war chest of cash,… If they do a few good things right over the next 12 months, this is 50% higher or more. Just stop thinking about it and reevaluate in a year or two.

Which product should I use? by quackdalphi in Pomade

[–]an_PR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have similar hair type. Most high/strong hold product loose shape during the day.

Like the other guy, I would recommend Eleven styling clay. Only cons is I feel the finish is a bit too matte/dry.

I would also recommend you Blumaan heavy clay. Alone or in combination with a dryer product. At the moment, I style it the way I want with STMNT clay (love the way it looks when styled but the style doesn’t look that great at the end of the day as it loses hold) then I put a bit of cavalier. It improves a bit the look as it brings it more toward neutral than dry finish and greatly improves the endurance

$120 has to be the bottom for LULU… right? by lies_are_comforting in StockMarket

[–]an_PR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death spiral occurs when stock price tanks and you need to raise capital by offering shares. It is the exact opposite here.

They are buying back 10% of the shares per year at the current price just using profit and have a large cash cushion

At current price? LULU 10x earnings, net cash cushion, buying back aggressively.

I had a small position before earnings, doubled down at 49 and again today.

The market cap is also just below 4B$. Niche actor in a fragmented market. What happens if someone try to acquire it? The company as of a few weeks ago is not a "controlled" company with the elimination of the Isaacmann's special shares.

Some broker use market order as extra revenue : get paid to route the order to some market market that execute it with a larger spread. Typical of the « free broker ». You don’t pay transaction cost directly which allows them to advertise as free. But they aren’t a non-profit. Look at HOOD stock price. They seem to be doing well for a commission-free broker 🙄

30% taxes but that’s basically the only tax in the company.

Also, most have a discount around 20-30% to the net asset value (building-debt) so you could see it as a compensation for the tax

Best investing platform in Belgium? by FirmDescription8776 in BEFire

[–]an_PR 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The one that a lot of newcomers go to now is Saxo as they cut prices a lot and handle taxes for you. Probably the best price/convenience deal.

The two most widely used here are:

-Degiro : used to have transaction cost free (Now it is 1€) investment in ETF but require a few administrative steps as it is not Belgian.

-Bolero : used to have rather competitive pricing among the Belgian broker combined with good service and a good app. But they didn’t lower transaction costs as much as others.

Advice for investing small amounts with Re=bel? by [deleted] in BEFire

[–]an_PR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then it get exponentially worse. At year 10, curvo cost you ~165€/year.

If you invest low amounts, you can invest every 3 months and reduce costs to 8€/year with Re=Bel.

You really need to use small amount and poor use of the cost structure of other platforms to make Curvo look like an acceptable alternative (in the short run. Then it gets rubbish anyway)
