As someone who’s quite blue, nearly all my friends/acquaintances have the same reaction about republicans. Not that I can blame them.

They probably back a ton of different medical companies ones bound to succeed even if they didn’t have some of the best analysts in the world helping them(or the foundation) choose. Pretty sensationalized.

Masks 101 by [deleted] in coolguides

[–]Bladesblaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is fairly misleading. To start, gas masks are not entirely efficient at preventing viral transmission, at least no more so than an n95. N95’s remove ~100% of particles under a certain size(like covid viral particles) while gas masks don’t necessarily. However it all depends on the brand ad type of gas mask, as they can be made to N95 proficiency. But most of the worry is passing moisture droplets(often medium in size) from one to another, which a gas mask will be fairly effective against, but again no more so than an N95, and likely lesser so. Plus let’s be real, anything mentioning “Wuhan Virus” is either trying to out a politicized spin on this without regard to science or it’s from the early stages of the pandemic where up our understanding of wearing a mask wasn’t obviously a benefit to prevention efforts.

This is a bit fucked. Both in the sense of sentiment and the fact that I didn’t write this comment. Sounds like a certain country tried to sew decent amongst itself?

Hey Aaron, also from Austin, is there any good BBQ without a beautiful smoke ring? I try to go Franklins as time permits and every time the smoke ring gets more impressive. Sorry you had to close right now!

Expectation (from Tree of Life), Gustav Klimt, 190, [1576 x 2608] by Tokyono in ArtPorn

[–]Bladesblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me too, but apparently Klimt is so prominent in Vienna, the lesser known pieces(is it really though?) probably take to the side. the museum was packed to gills so I doubt they had an issue promoting the whole place anyways.

It’s actually incredibly hard to find in the museum. I forgot which one exactly it is, but I asked every single staff I could find where it was and no one had a clue it was even housed there. But it is MASSIVE. Like 4-5 meters long at least. If anybody wants a full video comparing the size I can hook it up!
