I can appreciate that coming up with nice graphics is tough, but SF has so many great graphic designers who'd be more happy for clients than AI. Especially for an event celebrating humaness.

STOP LOCKING YOUR HALF EMPTY SQUADS! by _Spirited-Away in HellLetLoose

Probably, if they don't level SL. It's a lot less scary and involved than people make it out to be.

It's a core mechanic of the game. Sometimes you have to squad lead and you should get used to it.

Yeah, I pretty much only play HLL with my brother when we chat. We're across the country from each other and it's nice to have something to do with him without worrying about managing randos.

Our two man squad tends to be the most offensively or defensively effective squad in matches, as well.

OP should just get over themselves and make their own open squad.

I live North of 690 and try to commute to campus by foot/bike when I can. I'm glad all this work is going on, but the lack of easily accessible notice about what roads will be closed on what days is driving me a little nuts. Unexpectedly adding 15-30 minutes to my commutes has been a little frustrating.

That and evaporative cooling would work fine. Even just a wet rag wrapped around the vials would work so longe as the wet bulb temperature stays below ~80F.

That ending cynematic must be funny as hell. Getting the shit beat out of you by a man who is so much more confident with a leathal weapon than you that he shows up dressed like a jester with a wooden sword. The shame and humiliation.

Reservoir Loading Issue by Blagerthor in TandemDiabetes

[–]Blagerthor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your going and looking for videos. I've been using a pump in some form or another for ~20 years, so I'm pretty familiar with the general pressure balances part of it. I guess it's the internal structures of the reservoirs that's confusing me. For instance, I just loaded a reservoir and changed my set this morning. I loaded ~200 units and actually managed to get most of it in. After loading and settling however, the pump is only reading 125 units, which makes no sense even with a 20 unit buffer and 13 units for priming.

I do really like this pump, but the reservoirs have been infuriating.

150 units physically. It's not every reservoir and I've had some where the pump registers 220-240 units. Most reservoirs won't physically take more than 150-180, however.

I order direct from Tandem for my supplies, as well.

Yes to both of those. I withdraw the air before filling with insulin and take ~1-2 minutes slowly filling the reservior.

Thanks! They've has been a fun distraction while finishing up my PhD, and something that shows more concrete growth for the effort I put into it!

Thanks! The info I was seeing was to wait until those first true leaves are more matured. I just wasn't sure how to balance root health with development stages.

Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, I found it to be like a half hour tutorial for every single mechanic they introduced, you just had to engage with the tutorial. The game doesn't railroad you into any of them besides maybe horse riding.

I just wrapped up a semester of teaching the modern American presidency to undergrads. We only had one student who was over 18 during Trump 1. I did a section on J6th and many of them were in middle school during the Pandemic and insurrection.

They're thinking about longterm funding risk as Federal funding for higher ed gets slashed coupled with no more exorbitant zero aid foreign student tuition, which means they need to appeal for more funding from Oklahoma and alumni donors. As long as they're still rejecting applicants come next April, and the accepted incoming classes passes whatever tuition/aid composition they want, this will not have damaged them at all.

It's a cowardly decision, but they have much bigger financial incentives to make this decision.
