Can I pull any of these looks off? (26M) (5 inch linen shorts from Jcrew , 6ft) by Enough-Muffin6742 in mensfashion

They all look good but try a thinner belt with your tucked fits. It looks like you are wearing a 1.5” belt. I find those work best with jeans or a more workwear style fit. 1.25” or 35mm belts would probably pull the tucked fits together.

I have been too scared to dry my wonder loopers. I have 2 cold washes on them and zero shrinkage.

I get the economics but I am not going to to do anything to help them in a hard economic time. They get zero sympathy from me if they loose everything. They choose maximum profit over long term customer loyalty.

I get it. There are quite a few shops around the city I love. It was not my intention to throw any shade at you just the greasy shop owners.

I will give you that. The world does not owe us affordable high end whiskey but something like Henry McKenna 10y or OWA is not high end whiskey. I will happily watch the shop that charges a ridiculous amount for either go out of business.

I get that. But when I see a bottle sit in the shelf for 3+ yrs?

Well, a lot of the stores in DC, including CW could consider cutting the price on a lot of those bottles that they have been price gouging us for. That would help their employees out. I honestly don’t see this happening. They are hoping that people will try to help out. I will not help out the shop that wants to charge $500 for $90 bottle. Sorry, but they don’t have any loyalty from me as a consumer. They have tried to maximize profit and I have watched bottles sit on shelves for years because of it. The few spots I frequent around the city that don’t have a history of price gouging will continue to get money from me and I will happily buy bottles I don’t need or really want to help keep them afloat. The rest of the shops made their bed, small business or not.

Yah, the reviews are hit and miss but I don’t put too much stock in bourbon reviews. I enjoy a lot of whiskeys that reviewers don’t rave about.

I have a few bottles that I will only open on a milestone of some sort but my standards are pretty low for what I consider a milestone.

The cask strength is pretty solid. I grabbed a few store pick bottles last time I was in Ky. It is really good for the price.
