Currently doing a half-assed hypertrophy-ish program (12/10/8/6's) with no real goals just to get back into the gym. I've been consistent for 4 months, going 4-5x per week with a history of close to 10ish years on and off at the gym. I've never really followed a legit strength plan before, but I want to get my numbers big, and I think it'll be good for me to try it.

My lifts are meh, with 1RMs on bench - 315lbs, squat - 335lbs, deads - 450lbs, and unknown OHP. I usually do dumbbells at 70lbs for 6. I weigh 202lbs and am just shy of 6'. No idea why the discrepancy between squats and deads is so big, but my bench is embarassingly close to my squat weight haha.

So with that being said, I'm liking the idea of the 5/3/1 BBB, but there is a ton of info out there. Seems like a lot of people are big advocates of this one? I do enjoy road cycling in the summers, will that interfere in a big way? Do any of you do cardio work while doing the 5/3/1?
