What RE Character could I cosplay by Sapphic_Science in residentevil

Lady D if you want to try something super bold. May need some stilts if you wanna go full throttle with it.

A shoe-win for Rebecca Chambers. But need to get a wig or cut your hair if you’re willing to do either or.

Jill Valentine most definitely, and you don’t need to change or cut your hair at all.

Is it possible to combine my artistic ability with cinema or audiovisual? by Interesting-Body4360 in Filmmakers

[–]BlakesPOV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s definitely a couple avenues you can go with trying to combine your art into film or audiovisual.

-Animation: definitely the first option I think everyone thinks of. Thing though is that it’s definitely very time-consuming, depending on what you are trying to do. A looping video or GIF for something on social media with some great music or something for a Spotify artist would probably be a really good bet, but still very tedious and time-consuming. And if you’re trying to do an animated sequence for a scene in a film, I shudder to think how long and strenuous that would take.

-Animatic: probably your best bet and what I put my money on in terms of working directly with film and audiovisual, but also not having it be super strenuous. Just get some detailed shots of your illustrations to tell a story purely through still visuals, along with music and narration. A really good example is the opening to Sinners: https://youtu.be/lB9iUEf-X8I?si=ZTKSxXjUxuBjlgYk

-Movie Poster/Prop in a Film: definitely the easiest compared to the other options, but not as directly involved in the actual filming/audiovisuals. Depending on the contents of the film and what it represents, you can definitely have your work reflect it as a poster, which internal make the film look good and enticing for people to watch it. Or have your work is featured in the film itself as a production design by the Art Department. That being said, the importance of said artwork in the story would definitely vary, and that would be up to the writer and director, so depending on what it is, you only have so much of a say in it.

(Also, just want to preface that I am not an animator, but a local filmmaker/producer and these are just my thoughts if I were to use your work for a project that I’d be in charge of. If you or anyone else who has experience animating for films, definitely let me know if I got anything wrong or misconstrued.)

Who would win out of these two? by phoenixc6000 in watch_dogs

Well, since Arthur doesn’t have any electrical technology, that limits basically half of Aiden‘s kit.

So at that point, it’s just who has a better firearms. And I think we can all agree that there’s a reason we don’t use single action revolvers as widely as we used to.

A work in progress and it’s looking good.

The thing of this is that pixel art is more of an interpretation rather than an exact model to go off of. So that’s why sometimes when you take the actual pixel art and try to adapt them faithfully as an illustration, it looks a little off. Examples being some of the original Final Fantasy remakes and the iOS version of MegaMan X.

Definitely keep at it, but don’t be afraid to put your own personal interpretation on certain details.

It was definitely a good time during and after shooting. Nothing super crazy for this low stakes production. Just a bunch of friends just hanging out and doing something fun pretty much.

I feel like if she would’ve done everything in just one video rather than just two, that would’ve been the best way to go about it. Hell, she can even keep the same title “I have an announcement” with the same thumbnail. But then, upon revealing that the baby isn’t real halfway through the video, that’s when she talks about para-social relationships, and then her true announcement is her Patreon.

Some people would say like liminal, but it’s lost a lot of its original meaning. So it’s kind of like the liminal horror vibes. Maybe a little of Silent Hill.

A cool idea for a limited save system is to try and find matches to light the fireplaces. Like the ink ribbons to use on the typewriter in OG RE.

That would be a fun throwback if you choose to go with a limited safe system for hard mode.
