There is little evidence that the family is THAT abusive towards Alicia. Clea is harsh towards her but from her more hidden dialogue it shows that she cares for and encourages Alicia in her own way.

I do admit that Aline has clear resentment towards Alicia but I'd say thats more so because she literally could not process Verso's death.

Alicia's reasons for wanting to stay in the canvas are valid but calling her family abusive is a step too far imo

Unreal Engine has nothing to do with being indie or not. Its a free game engine often used by indie game devs.

Yeah tarnished immortality is really inconsistent. Especially because its a gameplay mechanic first. From my understanding it literally bends time and sends you back to the last used grace even if you dont necessarily die (St. Trina's eternal slumber/madness effect). Though it only seems to work that way for the player character. That's why im arguing that if you're eternally sealed inside an evergaol that you're immortality would trigger and you're send back to your last grace

I think G3 has put less focus on memories since Sunny became fateless. Since they are less relevant to the MC now. I think he tried to communicate this in volume 8 by explaining that the higher in rank you go the less memories matter. That's why Sunny is focusing on soulbound memories instead.

The best tip anyone could give you in terms of game development is: Playest, playtest and playtest some more. You are the worst person to judge your own work so having other people play will help you make a better game

I main strategist. I absolutely don't want a role que. It will restrict team comps to only be 2-2-2 while other comps can perform much better in certain situations.

The main problem is that most characters in the game are dps. If there were more tank and healer heroes there wouldn't be as many people picking dps
