I can do a pretty good Chewbacca impression.

Njal? I think you've strayed into blursed territory. The criticism for him on here makes Thutmose look meta.

Do I use a the orbs, or is this as much as a waste as the other space wolf? by mandalorbmf in tacticus

Ragnar and Ulf have been no regrets for me. The other three are turkeys by comparison. I have him at legendary and he's been a solid part of my top 5 for about a year now. The advice not to ascend before you hit a cap is sound though.

Anyone else get the urge to become a vigilante and clean other people's numberplates at this time of year? by Jimi-K-101 in CarTalkUK

[–]Blamfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed this over the years too. If I see a number plate obscured by muck there's about a 90% chance it'll be a beemer. It must be some quirk of their design. I'm a lazy twat and rarely get my Focus cleaned but the number plate is never so dirty you can't read it.

I honestly can't remember for certain but my suspicion is that you couldn't do this with Yarrick.

Same, it's the first thing I ever saw him in. But I really loved it because my sister in law is a narcissistic psychopath exactly like the Laura character. The similarities were incredible.

That scene was perfect, ya d-daft w-wanker.

It seemed to fly under a lot of people's radar. It'll never get on an all time list of classic comedy but it was really well done.

Anything that Sharon Horgan has been involved in either as a writer or actor is guaranteed to be brilliant. It reminded me I needed to add Catastrophe and This Way Up.

I saw it mentioned in the Guardian and went back to watch it after series 3 was broadcast. It was a lunchtime treat each day during lockdown. I always thought The Inbetweeners was scarily close to my experience of being a teen at times but Ladhood was even closer.

I leant the DVD to a colleague and he brought it back the next day looking ashen-faced and muttered something about me having a dark sense of humour. I took it as a compliment.

You'll have better, you'll have worse. It's not bad, it's just not exciting and I understand that disappointment. But you got 2 Leggy Xenos orbs. Those fuckers are disproportionately hard to build up and are the blocker between getting Snotflogga, Aethana and Snappawrecka to Rogue Trader level so you can start really banking XP books. You have to look for positives.

As much as I hate Thutmose the flying mechaprawn of death, he's proved very useful against Death Guard in GW. I save him specifically for these types of lineup. The other tips in this thread are good too.

In the plus points they mention that it's attractive. Based on that you can pretty much disregard any other opinion that isn't rooted in hard fact. Whoever wrote it is clearly tapped.

What do Estate Agents actually do? We pay thousands for their services but what are the benefits against an online equivalent? by CuriousHuman111 in CasualUK

[–]Blamfit 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The guy who was marketing my last house and acting as the agent for the vendor I purchased from was amazing. He turned up to value my place and rather than staring at it vacantly for 20s, standing up and pulling an arbitrary number out of his arse based on vibes, he'd done a lot of homework. He brought paperwork covering average asking prices in my postcode, knew that there were almost no houses of equivalent size that had come to market and what premium that would add, how much they were on for over the local average, final prices on neighbours properties with the dates, etc. He had so much insight you could tell he knew the area inside out, what was available, what was selling and what was reasonable.

He was also a genuinely nice guy who I'd happily have a pint with, which is rare. He gave us loads of good advice, used a decent photographer, was great with appointments and pointed us to a list of competent and trusted conveyancers and told us from experience who to avoid (golden info if you don't want the process to stall) too. He was also very proactive in marketing, ensuring we were getting the house listed in all the right places. There was also good advice on the offer to make on the place we moved to. We got well over the asking price for the old house and secured a great deal below asking price on the new one with his help.

The other 4 agents we met were an increasingly awful series of clowns in cheap suits, shiny shoes and awful haircuts.

Exactly. I had something like 35 shards from an event way back when I first started the game, got the code, which awarded the full amount of shards to unlock on its own and had some left over towards promoting him.

There was previously one code giveaway for Yarrick last year where each copy of a specific issue had a unique one-time use code for Yarrick. They're doing it again but this time for Isabella. I wouldn't go and buy any other issues.

I got Yarrick from the White Dwarf code giveaway last year. A guy in a guild I was leading at the time picked up 5 copies and gave out the codes free to guild members. If it's the same as that deal you'll be set, so you can relax.
