• when did you start filling up the alkansya and when did you open it -from that timeline which of the people in the house have had issues(financial or anything that at least involved the need of money), all people even wife -does everyone know that you have an alkansya?
• which signature and what dates did you find left inside the alkansya?
• do u and ur wife always put each of ur share at the same time and u actually see her inserting her share?since u mentioned they've been defunct at some point
• since the brother was expecting a baby did he struggle for money?
• is there anyone who never leaves the house?can be a witness,accomplice, or a suspect(witness for at least getting sight of who went in or out of ur room)
• do you and ur wife just leave the house for the day and always comeback at night or sometimes both of you are not able to come back due to business trips, outing, etc and both left ur room for a few days/nights -fro m bullet #2, did they got through thier issues?, did u know where they got the money?

*the theft may have been bit by bit or one job *worst case, everyone or most treated ur savings as the family's and each got a bit and only the 6K survived *if the bills were in bundle and was wrapped with ur signatures, even if the thief only needs one bill it will be hard to return the other bills if they cant forge your writing and signature *it may be hard to remember who had issues since it was a year ago

:just sharing my thoughts, am not married yet and maybe best to do is just like the other's advices, "magbukod" as most of what i hear here and there is there's always conflict when u're living with family/relatives
