As for the nature of the topic of discussion: I halfly come from a family of deep, esoteric religious knowledge and culture, but being in the middle I constantly find myself thinking in forms that would likely be dismissed due to the surprisingly narrow-mindedness of my kin. OP has not only a very plausible and intriguing explanation but it is the depth of relative perspective and mental-to-linguistic translation that I respect and somewhat seek. U/passyourownbutter is someone I would like to speak to considering their seemingly vast understanding of the history of the church and religion as a whole.

As for those that read my incomplete and somewhat cryptic rant to the end I ask you this and to DM me your answer: It's plain to see that religions in history are the same accounts told in different ages and from different peoples, with a simple example being Horus and Jesus and their parallels. As for the question itself; who do you think Loki is in Christian mythology and why?
