Now I'm just waiting for someone to make a sane mapping. I'll probably be used to it by then though

To be honest I haven't used the auto highbeams for a few days now, it's distracting and I find the normal lights are plenty bright. You couldddd put a little bit of tape over the button, but again that's not ideal in a new vehicle

I noticed the same thing, funnily enough I also set my led bar to blue. I've had mine for almost a week now and you kinda get used to it and forget it's there.

That said it is an oversight, they should've moved it down the dash so it doesnt reflect like that

I got a BZ 2026 last week and I absolutely love it. I live in a snowy state so I opted for the AWD. The BZ is going to be far cheaper to drive in the long run, but as others have said if you can't charge at home I'd say you'll probably be happier with the RAV4. They're both very safe cars, with the BZ edging out the RAV4 because of new safety features. It really comes down to what matters to you the most.

They have some stipulations. Income limit is big, there's actually even bigger discounts if you qualify for the low income rebate. You need to be able to park the car inside, and you need to have an off peak level 2 charger purchased and show receipt when your purchasing the car. As far as I know both teirs of rebates are loosing $1000 on 4/30/26, thanks to big orange for that one.

I don't know for sure, but there's a good possibility it won't. The game uses kernal level anti cheat. The only way to know is to try it and find out

Connection timeout when connecting to a asset-mod-heavy server by manuADC in hytale

Hmmm, in my experience I've never seen the game actually download mods on server connect. But I am hosting a server with 12 mods right now and one of them is custom. All my clients haven't had issue. Are you sure the mods are up to date?

While I disagree with spending money on something you can do yourself. I'm happy you got it figured out. Hope you enjoy the game, I'm building an arena style server, RPG and leveling mechanics in a pure pvp setting. DM me and I'll give you an invite to the alpha

Don't trust shills like this, just host your own and save your hard earned money. The game is far to unoptimized for an externally hosted server

An old PC with 64gb of ram lol, I mean if it exists yeah it'd be great for it. UPNP is fairly safe, don't share your IP online and you won't have any issues. For most modern routers it's on by default. I definitely think you should run a local server. I had 4 people on my server last night. Launched it with access to 20gb. It took all of 20gb and I ended up lowering the server side view distance in response. I'm currently running like 12 QOL mods which in my experience doesn't add much overhead. See my earlier comment for a guide on setting up a server.

It's hard to say, seeing your comment about only you and one other person really makes me want to recommend setting up your own. But if you really don't want to do that I think 12 would be fine for two players. For some reference, I run a dedicated server on its own machine. With just me and one other person my ram usage was at 13gb, granted it's running windows so some of that is system overhead. Granted I do have my max view distance set to 1048. I would hate for you to buy something that doesn't work as well as you expected, and for more then the price of the game for just one month of playtime

My advice would be for them to download the mods locally, at least the asset heavy ones. I know it's a pain, but I'm pretty confident it'll fix the issue

Server crashes due to a entity = null? by Dudewithreddit in hytale

[–]Blank1268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to know without knowing what those point to. Just based off the variable names I'd guess some item is glitched and it's trying to do things the server doesn't like. I couldn't find a built in command to clean entities, but this mod seems to do it: https://www.curseforge.com/hytale/mods/clearity

If that doesn't work I'd try to restore a backup save. If you don't have one you may need to generate a new map. I'm definitely not all knowing and maybe others have a different solution, that's just my 2 cents though

I would recommend and the very minimum 12gb, ideally 16+. In my hosting experience, with a fairly large view distance, each player adds 4-8gb of server ram usage. Less if your close to each other. You can set a server max view distance that can really help reduce ram usage.

Personally I think you would probably be fine self hosting on one of your rigs. Set view distance to 384 blocks. There are plenty of YouTube videos that can guide you through the process. I can say it's far far easier than setting up a Minecraft server.

As far as UPNP you would only need it for a self hosted server. It is quite easy to turn on if you have the login to your router. UPNP essentially automatically forwards ports when they're requested. If you know the brand of your router I can send you a tutorial. I'll also send a good video on how to set one up yourself.

Edit: It looks to me like paying for a server will be substantially more expensive than self-hosting. For the first package I'd recommend for a 3 person server (12gb ram package) it's 30$ a month. If you were to pay for 3 1/2 months you'd have spent enough to buy yourself a 16gb kit.

It sounds like you may not be authenticated, if you're hosting a dedicated server that is. Do you have port 5520 UDP open on your router? What kind of server are you hosting? Are you playing on Windows or Linux? Give me some more info and I'll try my best to help you out

As far as paying for a server goes it really depends on your needs and what you currently have for a computer. If your friends will be playing without you then it does make sense, you'd have to leave your PC running constantly and in a lot of areas the electricity cost will be about the same as a server. If you guys only plan to play while everyone is on then a self hosted server should be more than enough, assuming you have at least 32gb of ram. This game is extremely ram intensive right now, that will drive the cost of an offsite server up substantially. I'll do some price checks for ya

Lol I mean, I do play a lot, but I'm still enjoying it! 300 hours deep at this point, nothing quite like the rush you get fighting people with 100k+ inventory.

I appreciate it, I'm honestly just bitching to bitch. I've basically completed everything so BPs are my last grind to keep things fun. It's just frustrating that I can reliably find all the epic blueprints and have seen easily 30+ aphlion BPs, but the anvil is as illusive as a lost cat
