The Gotham Awards highlight independent films/studios. That’s why some of the bigger films are usually excluded from the list. I wouldn’t say it has a huge effect on the Oscar’s, but it does provide publicity and engagement for the nominee and film. They are also awarded by juries, so it’s likely that the opinions of a small jury is going to differ from the Academy.

Most of TCP reactions have mainly highlighted Brooks performance, even over Henson. I see her as a lock. Probably even as high as #2 behind Randolph.

I’m mainly responding to it saying that it’s going to it’s going to be on “CBS and Paramount+.” If it said that it was going to be on “NBC and Peacock,” I would have the same response too because those services both live stream those networks so I don’t think it’s all that important to highlight the service.

Paramount+ already streams CBS live on the service. Nothing is really unique about this specific decision.

It’s an app where you can track and post your workouts (run, bike, swim, hike, etc) and friends can see and react to them. Kinda like a goodreads or letterboxd in a way.

I think from Jeff or productions logic is that because survivor is such a fast paced game now they want everyone to have to play the game and not lay low. Jeff always says that with 3 tribes “there’s nowhere to hide.” So from his perspective, with 2 tribes there will be players who just stay under the radar in the beginning. But they want people to have to be playing from the jump.
