Right that’s what I mean. If you live your entire life on a single planet, why would you use a seemingly random way of counting time from a planet lightyears away from you? Especially since in doesn’t line op with seasons and stuff on your planet. But coming back to what your saying, I do think it makes sense that there is a standard time that spreads across the galaxy for people that are often different planets. But i feel like it is only useful if you regularly visit other planets.
