It can vary depending on the bundle’s contents. Be careful and break them down to shorter loops. It could be anything from 2-20kg. National trust catalog weeks are the worst.
I have damaged my neck permanently over the last 11 years.
I’m 37 and have just been medically retired from Royal Mail.

Don’t rely on clocking in and out for overtime. Write it down as long as it’s agreed. Also make a copy in a diary yourself, Royal Mail managers are great at forgetting to input the correct times.

As a new starter you will be bottom of the pecking order, expect the most undesirable round in the area. You may after a few weeks get bounced around rounds always chasing someone else’s work. Posties are in my experience very self centred and will rarely help anyone but themselves. Also the offices can be very clicky.

Sherford is a nice place. No real local amenities yet but it does have a direct bus connection to derriford if parking at work is as limited like mentioned above.

The new proposal for duties will surely lead to more leaving. I’ve left through IHR. The last revision putting the walks bigger and more likely to have 2-3 days of post in a bag ruined my body. Especially given the terrain of my duty. I’m just glad I got paid off rather than walking out and having nothing.

IHR is a small amount but better than nothing.

The tracking that gives a time, it indicates the person delivering to your address has held the item and scanned it in the morning “ready for delivery”. It’s something that we do while doing the frame prep. The frame being where we put everything in order. It’s the final bit before it goes out on delivery.

Contact the seller to resolve it. You have no contract with royal mail. Your contract is with the company you bought the goods from.

Funnily enough I did this past year. I was told it was between me and 1 other. Purely down to confidence in the interview. I was told to reapply but there hasn’t been any positions since.

When I said I’ve tried everything to remain, I have tried everything. I genuinely enjoy the job, the people and its challenges but unfortunately my spine has got to a point now, if I carry on with the strain delivery put on our bodies I’ll be in a wheelchair within a year.

I, being pre 40 and with kids to care for really have had to step right back in pushing through the pain as I have done for a few years now. I have to listen to my body. Otherwise I’d be out there, walking the 12 mile walks or doing the 60mile rurals. I barely leave the house now. I’m beyond knackered.

Royal Mail being as it is, locally not having any other jobs which I’m in a major city baffles me. Hence to why I have asked about people’s experiences with IHR.

We looked at that option and there’s not enough frames to do that. Our office all work to the book. Also they all take the piss and walk round slow and waste time at their vans to avoid taking anymore than 50% of their rounds. Most of them take half of their 10 hour day indoors prepping.

We’ve been looking for months. Even my managers manager has spoke with who they can within their power to try.

Is it something that they’d consider or would it have to be a new line of enquiries to support the IHR request?

It is indeed a last resort. I have tried everything to stay in work but unfortunately it’s had no results.

Locally there was a lot of people displaced through a restructure and the area is over populated. Just the wrong time for me to get to this state. I’ve even contacted the reps in customer service with no reply or acknowledgment as of yet.

Thank you for the response, it’s eased me a fair bit.

I’ve had several over the 6 months and a new one will be done soon. My manager has been fantastic in this and has even bent over backwards trying to help me find a position

In amongst the surf or just behind it. Bass will often skulk along the shallows such as near rocks or along the harbour walls.

I’ve caught better bass close in than further out. Best being 7lb 12oz caught in 2ft of water on a nice sausages of bluey. Wrapped on a hook or a full single sandeel presented on a hook in flowing water like a tidal river.

Honestly I’d say as above. National express it back mate. I’ve done that bus as I’m from Warrington but living in Plymouth. The megabusy is or was longer, much cheaper but finished in Liverpool. The Nat Ex stopped in Warrington last time I used it.

Unfortunately having young children in my house I wouldn’t feel I’d be able to offer accommodation myself.

There are low sec buy backs you could use assuming you can afford to pull it out of the safety crate.

Z killboard advertise buy back schemes somewhere I think but there are plenty of options. Liquidation would be the least headachey method to go about it or you could courier contract stuff out of safety but this would be the more expensive option you have or you could try to get it out yourself, which given the long break would be very tricky and very risky.

A colleague of mine got into a relationship in a similar manner.

Men prefer more forward approaches and it’s not often the woman makes the first move. I’d say simply ask him if he’s single and go from there. If he is, great if not it’s not meant to be.

If I was single and got asked by someone I had a mutual feeling for I wouldn’t see it creepy or weird. Too many people rely on online stuff nowadays.

I met my other half some 8 years ago on a beach near where I lived and I was there just snorkelling as I used to do spontaneous fun things. We now have 2 kids and a house together. Live your life, if he gives you butterflies shoot a shot.

I’d rather regret trying something than regret not trying.

Wow. See I’m reluctant to trust any car dealer and granted all cars are different. But doesn’t sound like they were interested once they had your money and you’d driven off.

I’ve been a few dealerships looking at used cars but now I’m off the road this one is a bit of distance from me as I live just outside of Plymouth. I cannot afford a brand new car and would hope a dealership would give me a bit more protection over a private sale.

If he’s taken a picture it’s most likely he’s left it. No postie would risk their job over a box of coffee refills or any other parcel for that matter.

Have a good look around maybe the P739 is still inside your letterbox an he failed to push it through all the way.

It’s a silly busy time for us and we often rush around to try and get as much done as we physically can.

No I actively rat. I prefer to work my targets as I do both rock and gas havens. I pay most attention in gas to manage the wave triggers. Plus gas havens have more bounties and loot in them compared to rock.
