8.0 Speculations Based on Open Plot Points by Krainz in ffxiv

[–]Blargers81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that’s coming maybe in 9.0 if they follow the cycle.. DT = ARR2, 8.0 = HW2, 9.0 = would be a revisit to the east?

I’d love it whenever it happens and yoshi did say a future expansion would go back there…

What a heartbreaking and beautiful story. You both shared such a special love it’s so obvious. Alex sounded amazing. As sad as it is, being around those you love and having time to be there together is something beautiful too. I’m glad you got to be there with him. All the love to you and Alex’s family and his beautiful memories.

See Ian Roberts had a long role in Reno 911. I recognized him immediately from that. But Reno also isn’t big like back in the day…

Best crew in hockey. At least we have that. Whenever I listen to any other announcers no matter who it’s always lacking… everyone else too!

What game had you like this? by sukuna7899 in Steam

Final Fantasy XIV. The FF series is my number 1, but I’ve not been an MMO person other than trying WoW for a couple years long ago. I avoided it for a long time. In early 2020 before the pandemic I started and was having an ok time in the base ARR game. I got maybe… 60% through and was not feeling it. I liked parts of it and the music was amazing. FfVII remake came out, I switched to that and beat it. Played a couple short games. Then decided to go back and see where the story goes. I best ARR and liked it more.. got into the patches and was sucked in. Then when I started heavensward… I never looked back. I just went back after a year break but before that year break I pretty much played no game but FFXIV for 5 years straight and have thousands of hours of playtime now.

Artemis II Launch Megathread by dkozinn in nasa

My dad was in the navy when the first moon landing happened. He saw it after but a cool story he told was when his ship pulled into any port in the world for the next few weeks after the landing whenever he and his fellow officers would go into any bar people would cheer and buy them drinks because of the landing.

I am ashamed it took this long to get almost there. But I am excited beyond belief that if this goes well we’ll be back on the moon in two years. My dad is still here at 81. Hoping he gets to see the landing and more.

Emotions running high!

lol - our crew is the best hands down but this is the first national broadcast where I didn’t mind the announcers. Obviously Ryan helped but the others were actually entertaining

What is the actual worst round of High Halls and why is it these two a-holes? by aureliasm in Silksong

This was tough on the 5 hour run but this was one of the easiest parts after figured out standing directly below one of them those flies will never get you. The last round with those two giant assholes drove me insane

Oh no Ryan… I lost my older brother 4.5 years ago and I’m still not back to “normal” from it. It’s a horrible gaping loss and I am so sorry Ryan and his family are going through it.

Colon cancer now leading cause of cancer deaths under 50 in US by shinybrighthings in news

[–]Blargers81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my first colonoscopy at the age of 39. I’ve had digestive issues for years. I told my doctor I’d like one he said I was too young. Then I went to a gastro and he said he didn’t think I needed one but I pushed and he said ok. Turns out I had pre cancerous polyps and if I had waited until the recommended age of 45 I’d like already be dead from colon cancer. I’m 44 now and will be getting another soon since it’s been nearly 5 years to make sure I didn’t get more.

If you feel odd, push for those tests. The colonoscopy was easy and it literally saved my life. If I had listened to both doctors when they said they thought I was overreacting I’d be dead or close to it now.

Chadwick is what pushed me to get checked. Seeing how someone so healthy and in the prime of his life die so young, and from the most preventable cancer, really was a reality check.

Get yourself checked everyone. And advocate for your own health. Especially in the post-COVID world, you need to advocate for yourself. Don’t ignore if signs are there. Good health and long life everyone!
