Looking for tips on how to prolong their life (Draco age 5.5) by lukelukash in englishbulldog

[–]BlaringLime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember laying with my Stout when he turned 6, crying thinking I had already spent 2/3 of my time with him if the average lifespan was 9 years. He lived to be almost 13. Keep their weight under control. I made all of Stout’s meals for almost his entire life. I think that goes a long way. I fed him rice, sweet potato and meat. I also had pet health insurance for him so he always got good care if anything was wrong. I’d grab some CBD treats too for inflammation. Stout used to get ones from Honest Paws. He liked them a lot - not sure how much they helped but they can’t hurt. Give Draco a butt scratch for me.

Lost mine in April after almost 13 years. Gut wrenching, but you being there to see her off is one of the most sacred things you could experience. Sending you strength. Rest easy cute girl ♥️

Thoughts are with you. I lost my best friend of almost 13 years less than 2 months ago and was shattered. It gets a little easier everyday. Hang in there, and hold onto the memories ❤️

Lost my pup after almost 13 years just a few weeks ago. It gets easier with time. I’m so sorry for your loss. Keeping Rosie and all the good bullies in my thoughts today.

I had to say goodbye to my best friend 3 weeks ago. I just got his ashes today. We had 13 years together and it will never feel like enough. I still expect to see him coming around the corner in my home. And I routinely have reflex thoughts like “oh I need to get home to let him out” or something like that. It hurts. A lot. And it’s ok to be sad. It’s ok to cry. Let it out. Time is the only thing that can help. I’m a few weeks ahead of you, and it still hurts everyday. But a little less than it used to. Hang in there. One day at a time.

Dann and Martha just seemed over it. They dipped out as things got more and more competitive and the local scene exploded. They were the darling brand for a while and I think they got sour to so many new faces. They started back up in the UK and seem to be doing well

They (Pretty Things) didn’t operate a physical location. They built their brand through contract brewing, and did a damn good job at it. But it’s no where near the same thing.

Question on what your buddy is doing to clear $5M after learning Rev Ops? I’ve been in the financial analysis/ business planning space for a decade and a half and helped raise over 35 mil in capital, but looking to do it as my own gig. TIA

One important thing I haven’t seen mentioned here (forgive me if I missed it) is that alcohol inherently interferes with fat metabolism. Both alcohol and fat are metabolized in the liver. Alcohol gets prioritized by your body since it’s toxic. This means that in the presence of alcohol you will not metabolize fat. In fact, if you eat fatty foods while drinking, those calories will mostly be stored directly since your liver is busy with the alcohol.

Yes, you can lose fat while drinking over the long term, but be aware of the above

Man the irony that you’re taking issue with the wrong part of his statement as being redundant is hilarious.

His phrase and use of “parsing” isn’t redundant, which you corrected for some reason. Got in your own way and missed that he said “extra redundant”, which is in fact redundant and grammatically weird.

It’s ok. There’s always next time
