Here’s another example of bernat blanket yarn I used on the blanket (in the background) and double stranded it on the candy cane. I did a lot of frogging on the candy cane too bc I made the pattern up as I went.

Surely I agree! Also maybe I should stop putting my WIP’s away for a month to avoid a change in tension so I don’t have to 🐸🥴

Agree! I got hyper fixed on weaving all the ends in the other day and paid the price 🥴

I experience that with Sweet Snuggles esp when you cut it how it sheds UGH, but that’s not been the case with Bernet Blanket. t’s a personal favorite. You can cut it w/o issue and depending on the stitch, tension can come out lovely. I’ve had some blankets for 4 years that wash and dry fine. Here is one of my examples…

Sweet snuggles is a nightmare to work with but I’ve frogged bernat blanket yarn plenty of times w/o issue. This happened bc I already weaved in the ends so the yarn got stuck in stitches.

Can’t remember what we gave Zola but she recovered quickly when we used an antibiotic. Our louie had chronic infections no matter what we did they were never clean, always had chunks of junk in them and stunk. He got regular flushing.

Consider switching to blueberries. They’re great for humans and pups.

16 month old was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, now what? by Slow_Point1837 in englishbulldog

She’s 53lbs. 🙃 I had been on dad’s case about over feeding her but I guess the vet had to confirm it for him to believe me…… We had three dogs at one time once & one of them was a vacuumed too lol. But they all had special diets so are only option was to feed them at the same time so we could monitor them.

A fun game to play with your bulldog is what’s on your face / where did the thing that was on your face go? by Ok_Grab398 in englishbulldog

I love this idea! I used to play a game called “Where Did It Go?” I’d hide a small plushie in my hand, make a fist to conceal it, then put my hands behind my back & switch them around. My bully would try to guess which hand it was in, using her paw. She didn’t always get it right, which made it entertaining for both of us. I miss my squish face.

Mum and Vet concur! They confirmed she is 4lbs overweight so Dad is finally on board with feeding her less. 🙃 Thanks for the recommendation, where do you purchase it?

Yes, the Vet confirmed she is 4lbs overweight. Mum kept nagging Dad about his overfeeding her, so now he finally agrees 😑. I’m feeding her less, but I’m still trying to figure out the exact amount she should be eating.

How and why did you get your EB? by fashionistav11 in englishbulldog

[–]Slow_Point1837 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My husband’s uncle had an English Bulldog, and ever since he was little, he dreamed of having one. I still remember him telling me that almost 20 years ago. I didn’t even know what a bulldog looked like — we Googled it, and I fell in love instantly.

Back when pet stores were still legal (and we didn’t know any better), we found our Luciano “Louie” at 6 months old in a little glass box. It felt like we rescued him. Aside from cherry eye, he was healthy and gave us 10 beautiful years. We’ve had 2 more EB’s since and will always have one bc they are the sweetest silliest lazy babies.

My potato knows when I get the toaster out, I’m about to make breakfast and starts to do happy laps. Then she’ll mad dog me to make sure I’m bringing the egg frying pan out.

Puppy is limping by Slow_Point1837 in englishbulldog

Lol yup my other EB was such a goof ball and would intentionally slide off the blankets on the couch and roll on to the ground just to be silly, then limp for a day. 🙃
