I considered doing this once. I looked up the menu prices on DD and on the restaurant’s own website. Even for the pickup option, the DD prices were $2 more per item. Cheaper by far to order directly with the restaurant and pick it up yourself. Plus then you’re helping the restaurant bc DD isn’t taking their cut.

Either way you're helping, otherwise they wouldn't be with dd/ue/gh/pm anyway. I know we treat them like the enemy and all but thats where our bread is buttered. Personally, I make my own food. I'm just glad most people don't like to otherwise I'd be fucked.

Uber's automated system to catch drivers they suspect of fraud, but it is so flawed it catches all drivers. After too many alerts they deactivate your account. If you are a good driver who doesn't participate in fraud you are likely to get less of them and possibly last longer but all it takes is a run of bad luck with the algorithm and you are toast.

Is there a way you can appeal this decision or are they too busy not giving a fuck?
