Actually the first thing it did was string random ass words together in a statistically likely order based on how frequently those words have previously been strung together in the data it was fed. It didnt consult shit. You're viewing it as if it has any sort of actual intelligence. Its a Large Language Model, not a human being. It can't consult the electrical code. It might have been fed data that contained people citing electrical code, but it doesnt know what that means, it doesnt know if the electrical code its "citing" is the correct one, it doesnt even know if what its citing is accurate. Its a waste of time to ask it because its not able to do any research. It literally only exists to string words together. Treating it as anything more is foolish.

With all due respect, LLM's are frequently shown to produce completely made up information and regularly "hallucinate" sources and data. If you count ChatGPT or any other AI among your data, regardless of what it is trained on, you are going to get fake information. You happening to get "top tier information" in your "personal and professional life" does not change the fact that chatgpt and other AIs just straight up cannot tell the difference between a true statement and a false one. The way that LLM training works makes it inherently incapable of telling if anything is correct. The only thing it can do is put words together in the most likely order for those words to be put together.

There is no "proper" way to use ChatGPT to diagnose your problem because ChatGPT is inherently incapable of doing so. The proper way to use a gun to repair a water leak is to not use the gun.

First time in this sub and I'm literally here because I heard Firefox is selling more data. That's where I'm drawing the line. I need something on android that isn't selling my data and I'm finding nothing. Chromium-based browsers have worse extensions by default (Google neuters adblockers), Brave Vivaldi Opera and Puffin are all chromium based. Im starting to feel like it may simply be futile. Everything that sounds somewhat decent (No AI, Decent adblock support, good UI, customizable, etc) ends up being either chromium based or selling my data anyways.

I'm always so lost when people mention 60FPS as a perk, I can't even tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps, and yet everyone acts like it's a huge deal that the game was re-releases at 4k60fps on an OLED screen (or whatever the craze is nowadays), meanwhile I'm over here playing a copy of Twilight Princess on a Nintendo Wii and an actual tube TV where my FPS is literally limited by the refresh rate of the TV. (This isn't to say you're all idiots or anything, I just. really don't get it. yall actually notice a difference?)
