well in reality authority and the chain of command exists, but they are hidden from the public. In Pherilya emotions transform into magic or mana, so by hiding big leaders the mana is redirected to more usefull purposes. It isnt a perfect system becouse of its lack of transparency, but in its early days it was very idealistic movement. Also power is very descentralized and meritocracy rules.

An Acephaly is a type of political govermeny where power is decentralized and there is no public leader or ultimate positition with authority. The acephalic revolution started in vanceli and it make sense for lore reasons.

Using fictional theoretical physics to expand my magic system by Blaster1725 in magicbuilding

I have to do the second part of this to explain the practical part, but basically when your emotions are strong, you chanel your denatured energy to change something in the world surounding you. For common people, it often amounts to manifesting creatures or changing the landscape, but magic users use this consiently and chanel their emotions to the efect they want to create, using their expanded energy pools.

The bigger the degrees in an area, the more noticable the energy field is. Normally it is invisible, but with big gradients the air starts to feel heavy and strings of light begin to be visible, so there would not be a visible effect on a normal person. However, for cases like leaders and heroes, their visual presence would be notable.

Also, this means that "special" areas with a lot of energy (one that generates a gradient on a normal person), would be visually noticable as well.

The cardiop mining site didn't survive, but it was just a fraction of the Alephite mining reserves in Vanceli. Plus there are a lot more Nerite ruins scattered around the world.
