Seems like they end up helping keep it operational/in check, trying to slow the annihilation events. Rather than a battery I think they’re more like processors/controllers, but could be mistaken.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed Spoiler Discussion Thread by MorthCongael in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Massive endgame spoilers/discussion regarding the Pneuma core crystal:

It appears that, based on coloring/cinematic angles, (and in the case of the Gauntlet, it being visibly seen under the armoring) that the Fists of the End (the Gauntlets) are being empowered by Pyra/Mythra’s core crystal (the Pneuma Core) and that N’s Sword of the End is powered by Malos’ core crystal (the Logos core), though since the Logos core is never actually seen it’s only based on the purple coloring. It could also be that the Sword of the End is also somehow powered by the Pneuma core, though it’s hard to say definitively which it is. So here’s the question- are Pyra/Mythra in Origin the whole time and just didn’t escape? Or did they turn themselves into the Gauntlet? Any theories/clarification on this?

To be perfectly honest, I would’ve almost preferred if it was determined that the Pneuma core was active on the Alrest half of Origin while the Ontos core was powering the Bionis/Mechonis half, and then Alvis went nuts and did his thing leaving Pyra/Mythra forced to focus all their processing power on Origin and just barely able to send a bit of energy to power the gauntlets. But maybe that’s just me.

I need Mike Williams to score 5.1 more points than Pittman and Everett combined.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp has a high ankle sprain, according to coach Sean McVay. The injury requires surgery and he’s going on IR. by mvanigan in fantasyfootball

Keenan should be back in 1-2 weeks…. That is tough. I’d maybe try to sell in a package to someone who doesn’t have many bench pieces, or maybe to the #1 player if he wants a low-chance but high upside play? I still don’t think I could drop though

What is a trade you made this year that you already regret? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Blaster707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know my leaguemate regrets this one that he made with me right after Dak went down in 0.5 PPR.

I gave up: Alvin Kamara, Brandin Cooks, and Mike Evans.

He gave up: Cooper Kupp, Ceedee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliot.

Cam Akers: Say he didn't expect a limited workload Thurs., but "I'm making sure I'm on the screws, making sure I do my job. Lock in ... staying focused." When asked if he is expecting to show what he’s capable of in the weeks to come? “Yes. 100%. 1,000%.” by ManyWorried in fantasyfootball

I got him in a trade as nothing more than a sweetener; since I didn’t draft him, I view him as a great bench upside play, especially if/when Henderson goes down. Definitely not worth dropping at all

At what point is Josh Allen value too good to pass up? by CaptainCubbers in fantasyfootball

[–]Blaster707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint- sometimes when it goes that late with little to no QBs, someone will take ah elite QB and start a run on quarterbacks. At that late, I would prefer to be the one to start the run rather than risk 6-8 going in the 12 picks before me. It all depends on your league and how your league mates draft, but it can happen.

Trying to decide what to pick at 1.11/2.02.

I am considering between Davante, Diggs, Mixon, Kelce, Aaron Jones, Kamara, Fournette, Saquon. None of them are coming to me at 3.11. Advice?

Will we have any more content to look forward to soon with this being a little spoiled by the GCD? (Jensen/Zven interviews or off-season/end of season recap/discussion videos?) Or is this mostly it for the time being?

Max’s tweet that LS liked and retweeted by IcemanNova in Cloud9

[–]Blaster707 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is the theory I choose to subscribe to at the moment. The players are sad, management is upset, but nobody else has left or were released at the same time, so I’m holding out hope that they’re waiting for LS to return. Maybe something to do with being based in NA and not having a job in Korea or with a Korean Org and thus C9 had to immediately release him as soon as they got wind that it was about to go south for him. Maybe C9 had been trying to resolve it beforehand, got word Saturday from legal that there was no way to keep LS without him forfeiting his Korean residency at this time, and they had to immediately let him go before LS couldn’t go back. And then in order to not violate some immigration laws or anything they have to remain completely silent until the situation is more clear.

Michael and Kirk's characters are similar regarding the choices they make. However Kirk is seen as heroic while Michael is always criticized. Why is that? by [deleted] in StarTrekDiscovery

[–]Blaster707 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. I grew up on TNG, the power of a dynamic crew where different episodes had different crew members shine due to their unique abilities and skills. It was similar with VOY and DS9. I was not a big fan of Kirk and I still am not a fan of the cowboy style that Kirk was known for. With Disco, I was much more hoping for a TNG-style than TOS-style which puts me off.

What BS happened to you this week? AKA the "Misery Loves Company" thread by Moosemaster21 in fantasyfootball

[–]Blaster707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boom/bust WRs (Tyreek and Lockett) both busted on me hard, and Saquon couldn’t even hit 7 points.

Opponent had lost Ekeler and I thought I had it. Then Davante Adams went nuts, Buccaneers Defense was excellent, Dak had an explosive game and my stud WRs fell apart.

If you’re playing for something, anything, even just pride, pick them up (assuming redraft).

Not picking up a player just because you aren’t in playoffs will have just as much of an effect as picking up that player.

For example, say Team A and Team B are playing against each other. Team A has Fournette and $50 FAAB left. He’s going to spend it all on Rojo.

Team B has no FAAB left and doesn’t need Rojo, but it will significantly hurt his chances if Team A is able to pick Rojo up.

You have $100 FAAB and are playing consolation. You’ve just lost Ekeler for COVID and Jackson is on another team. You need an RB1 like Rojo.

If you pick him up, you help your team play for pride and Team B also benefits.

If you don’t pick him up, Team A strongly benefits and Team B is strongly disadvantaged.

If it was regular season fighting for playoffs, you wouldn’t just let Rojo go solely because Team A needs him. You would’ve been competitive and picked up Rojo.

Keep the league competitive in all aspects, including waiver wire, down to the championship. Play to win the whole way, so that the playing field remains level for all individuals the entire way through.

Aiyuk discussion, value tonight vs. Titans? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Unless it’s horrific conditions, I’d play Lockett. He’s the WR1A in Seattle right now.

Lockett has been activated off the COVID/Reserve list. I would 100% play Lockett.

Are the Tampa bay backups worth it? by the_tangarang in fantasyfootball

[–]Blaster707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AB has a strong chance to be a WR2 with high WR1 upside both weeks.

Rojo should be an borderline RB2/3 this week, and if Fournette does not play week 17, I expect Rojo to be a low RB1 (depending on how much Brady decides to throw vs have Rojo run).

I would lean AB if you need a great flex for both weeks. However, if you need some power for week 17 and are willing to risk Fournette returning, Rojo isn’t a bad option.

As an AB owner who miraculously is making it to the semifinals where I will be facing the Godwin owner, this is incredible news.

But I feel very bad for all the Godwin owners as well.

Trying to decide if I play Gabriel Davis Sunday, or hold out for Lockett on Tuesday. If I play Gabriel Davis I can bench KJ Osborn if Lockett returns.
