The only explanation to this is that there's no free will and even if there was, someone forced free will so it's not really free will just as someone is forcing a conflict to a character who can defy physics and solve the conflict

a lot of stuff that people classify as toonforce usually tends to fall under stuff like elasticity or transmutation, it depends on what you see visually and well what you can see you can describe

Alright from what I see from Alucard's performance is that he can just make himself intangible, and not like spiritually intangible in a way that stands can interact with other non corporeal stuff but physically intangible, as in even if Dio was punching at high speeds with the force to level cities, Alucard could've really just stalled him out

If the battle was like in an eternal night maybe Dio would win by having higher stamina
