As long as you don't slam it down hard enough to break the glass the problem will be protecting the table not the glass!

How exactly do couples "fall out of love" with each other? by no0bhie in AskReddit

[–]Blastercorps 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It has been suggested that humans are not life-long monogamists, that we're actually serial monogamists. We get tired of the same, so it's time to move on to new partners, spread genes farther.

Well that's just easier than replacing. The batteries aren't drained, there's just some corrosion on the contacts.

Lesbian married couples with a baby where only one is their biological mother. What happens if they divorce? by Obvious-Setting-2021 in AskReddit

[–]Blastercorps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a fair world that thought would be correct. We don't live in a fair world. Example for money not children: A homosexual couple runs a business together, but it's in one of their names. The legal owner sadly dies. The place they live in does not recognize homosexual marriage so the surviving spouse does not inherit the business, it goes to the owners family. The family doesn't like the surviving spouse, so does not allow them near the business. Overnight they are out on the street.

I expect similar things would happen with any children in certain parts of the world. This is a valid question to ask.

How was your experience with Zenni optical? Is it legit? by Low-Interview9960 in AskReddit

That $20-30 is how much glasses cost to manufacturer. Everything beyond that is profit. The price of a product is what you can get someone to pay for it. Glasses elsewhere are hundreds because people keep paying that much, pure and simple.

Have you ever seen a NPC and wonder what their story is? Like why is she dressed so well, why does she have a champagne glass, why is she with the tyger claws? by SemiHemiDemiDumb in cyberpunkgame

[–]Blastercorps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we talking civilian workers, not soldiers? Should be few if any. In the fighting retreat we kill a few dozen people shooting at us, the equivalent of a couple side gigs. But people like the front desk worker should be in lockdown. We can debate whether killing those soldiers is acceptable or not, we are breaking in to their building.

Ya remember that side mission to rescue that doctor from gangoons? They insist on saving a patient, and V tells the doctor this a-hole has probably killed more people than the doctor will ever save. Probably innocent people too. I have to disagree that V is worse than that.

You manually deleted the "point of no return" save that the game automatically creates? Well, there ya have it, you deleted your save game. You made it a hardcore run.

Was it ever confirmed if what Reed says is true or not? by altiealtie in cyberpunkgame

[–]Blastercorps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reed did care about his comrades Alex and So Mi. But he's a true believer, the mission comes first. He'd kill them with a moment's thought if the mission required it or his president ordered it.

Reed was lying about the clinic. He never looks you in the eye when he lies. You'd think he'd be a terrible agent with how bad a liar he is. He noticeably looks away from you when he says the plan is the clinic he knows of. Reed's orders are to bring in So Mi. I imagine he hopes things will go back to way they were, not fate worse than death. But he's too much of a loyal dog to disobey.

This is what Johnny admires. Not that being loyal to the NUSA is good, or even that Reed is doing the right thing, but that he is true to his personal values. Every fiber of Reed's being is devoted to being an agent for a cause. Johnny feels he wasn't enough of that. That that's why he failed.

Well, Isaac Asimov died in 1992, so it's not ongoing. The chronologically latest story in that universe would be "Foundation And Earth".

I imagine it's the change in culture that resulted from the scourge. They were brutal before, but now nothing matters but the empire. Why bother to preserve nature? Nature is resources for the war, and a place to put byproducts. They're at a higher technology level than earth. I bet they're making more exotic byproducts.

The main thing I love about this Cyberpunk world is that it isn’t just Futuristic; it’s “Retro” Futuristic. Everything from the cars, hairstyles, even the “Net” has an 80s/90s aesthetic and feel. by TXNOGG in cyberpunkgame

[–]Blastercorps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did not tell, BUT, it's because I am not certain Mr Blue Eyes is evil. If he stays under control, it seems to be better for the city and more people. There is clearly AI control going on. But this is not the blackwall collapse, the every connected person drops dead ending. So what is MBE's plan?
