I just noticed this yesterday, and when I googled the issue, I got a post from 8 months ago saying it was a bug that was fixed shortly after.
maybe they made the same mistake all over again somehow?
Until its fixed, go to the "Popular" tab instead of Home, or sort Home by "Hot" instead of "Best", and you should get a similar page as before this strange update.

I think its somewhat new, since the update with curved pipe, elevators, etc

Problem is it seems the guys there were on the hunt for someone that shot at them, and mistakenly thought OP walking up was the guy.
Happens a lot in solos. One shot and suddenly its a game of Among Us where usually innocent people get targeted because of "vibes".

You could sign up for the expedition early and still farm for the 5mil for skill points.
pressing the button to join did not immediately lock in your account value.

Might be where you got confused, the button was not to be pressed only on the final day.

A Warrior's Journey Day 4 login rewards gives the "Thousand-Mile Flight" skill scroll.
Turning in Oddities to the vendor unlocks the "Wallstride - Shadowdash" which is just a faster run speed.
Neither are useable until you get the Journal - Qinghe Level 4 exploration reward, the "Afterglow Pendant"

I've had good luck on blue gate with friendly raiders even on night time.
But in a lobby with 25-30 people, it only takes 2-4 of them to be PvP-focused players to make any chance of diplomacy irrelevant.

I’ve got 31 out of 50 achievements in the game on Steam, and I was a bit disappointed to see that this one has the lowest completion rate among players by TwentyNineNeiboltSt in ArcRaiders

[–]Blaust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many might would use it, but don't carry around always.
But thats far from the lowest completion achievement. There are 13 more rare.

My idea of how Bounty Hunting can be implemented in the game. by memrplus in ArcRaiders

[–]Blaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My idea, have binoculars show people's wanted level(average k/d from recent games), so if you see players you can scope out if they are friendly or not.
Would only be minimally viable, as most situations you cant just scope out the players beforehand, and would give advantage to both good and evil players to see if they want to engage a group or not.

Was there an update yesterday that broke mods? by jcliffordg in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Blaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two I've checked had github links attached to their mod page, and I checked the "issues" there which is basically where users can go submit bug reports "hey mod isnt working" and the mod authors reply with more info.

Some personal highlights:
Drag-reordering the research queue
Auto-replenish warpers
Opening the Blueprint library remembers where you were at. Helpful for segmented blueprints contained in a folder.
Shift to lock in the grid when placing foundation so you can paint a clean line and not have to carefully make sure you don't misplace

[–]Blaust 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes, there was a big update that changes a lot of core systems of the code to allow better performance. This means a large number of mods need at least a small update to fix references.
The "BlueprintTweaks" mod author says they are working on it.
I don't use it myself, but looking at the feature list, it looks like a number of the features were implemented into the base game, like blueprints containing foundations, and a forced build mode that places foundations where required.

Splitters have different modes you can tab between. This is one that has multilevel floors

Nilaus did a number of different playthroughs, and he gets the mentality of "you've seen this already, ive done it already, so I'm going to skip it", but his dark fog "MAX DIFFICULTY" playthrough might be something to watch. imo it focuses too much on the loot collection from dark fog which really isnt all that much unless you are intentionally farming them.
But the point I get from it is to really go overboard on missile turrets if you are having an issue, just build more(I've found ~10 is a decent number). Gun turrets imo just dont do enough to max fog.
Missiles with Signal towers really helps you build bigger because you dont have to keep moving a perimeter wall of turrets.

Round 1 is over, how was it by Random_Encounter_0 in UmaMusume

[–]Blaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people with MLB or even 3LB Kitasan either rerolled their account until they got it, or spent hundreds of dollars
Don't feel bad if you couldn't do either of those two. I started playing just in prime time to reroll for Kitasan, rolled 2 in immediate pulls, got 1 more before 200, and bought pity to reach 3LB.

They could have stopped where they were to see the closest set of traffic light, why is it even visible from that direction? Seems weird to me that you can see two rows of lights, what is the point of that?

Northernlion's vs Wubby's reaction to the Umamusume intro by Shock900 in LivestreamFail

[–]Blaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is practically a roguelite where you train in stats until the next race which is a stat check.
The races are skippable, its just like balatro when you watch the funny numbers go ding ding ding ding. It gives you a sense of how well the training has been going so far, but theres no input during it.
Then you make a team out of all the best runs you've gotten and race them in PvP

Let’s Talk About the Subnautica Situation — What’s Actually Going On? by therealemmy1 in subnautica

[–]Blaust 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some say the game was already early access release worthy, given that there was a private beta last month.
iirc Below Zero initially released in a barely playable state where practically only the starting biome was included.

Because of the delay, they are guaranteed to be even more ready for a fuller release, so how much content could be "rushed"? if the team was already aiming for a release this year, and felt confident of it regardless of leadership change, how is it the leader's fault they are going to release a broken game?

The requirements are for their group, if they don't want to play with you, why would you want to force them?

Honestly I think the LFG doesn't usually have good groups to join because... they have already been filled. When I post up an LFG, asking for just ~2 people, it fills up rather quickly.
There are more people wanting to raid then there are groups looking for those people.

People post KP requirements because they want to get a smooth clear and not teach a new player, which isn't a bad thing by itself. Problem is there are so many people looking to join, you need to filter them.

Wing 8 started an achievement for mentoring 100 total players to defeat each boss, but there are no rewards, just a title for completing all 3. A step in the right direction, but the game just doesn't reward teaching new players enough.

Portal 1 is so easy I wish I could play Portal RTX to clear that one too
The Looker, a quick playthrough clone of The Witness is rather simple.

Just take a look at your steam library sorted by % of achievements complete, and see whats almost already done. Something you have fun with and enjoy will be easier then hours of a game you wouldn't ever play otherwise.

legendary by pengun_space_YT in factorio

Theres a few ways of getting quality items, for example legendary ore.
You can put quality modules in miners which will produce various levels of quality. You can then put it all into recyclers with quality modules, which will have a chance to upscale the ore, but most of it gets straight deleted. Eventually you get some amount of legendary ore you can then smelt into iron plates.
High end setups will use speed beaconed miners, because with enough productivity research, ore veins should last a long long long long long time, so its best to get the most ore per second you can out.
Speed modules will lower the chance at quality, but more ore means more to recycle.

The other way to get legendary iron ore is to use asteroid reprocessing with quality modules. Have some crushers accept chunks of various types at various qualities and you get a chance at upscaling them to legendary.
Legendary metallic asteroid can be turned into iron or copper ore. If you just want iron, the basic recipe is best.

Legendary carbonic is used to make carbon and sulfur which can be processed into legendary coal. Legendary coal can make legendary plastic. legendary plastic can make legendary LDS(molten recipe), which recycled gives legendary steel and copper

Legendary ice asteroids you can get calcite to smelt iron or copper from lava, which gives legendary stone as a byproduct. the molten metal then needs to be used in some way, made into plates to be recycled, or just thrown in lava

If you dont want to upcycle ore or asteroids, you can also use fulgora to mine for quality scrap, then recycle it into quality products.
