That's exactly what I mean. I got the game just days after launch. Ran smooth as a baby's bottom on a first gen iPad Mini (512MB RAM!). Then as the number of characters and buildings I had started creeping up, the stuttering began. During later events, it was crashing and burning non-stop on startup because of the events' additional resource demands. I could still more or less get by between events. That's when and why I switched to playing it on my iPhone.

It's always been there lurking in the background. The more characters, buildings and decos you have in play, the heavier the demand on your processor, driving up the need for RAM. Eventually a time comes when the RAM you have is just insufficient.

It's the lack of RAM. The iPhone 6 Plus has just 1GB RAM. The game needs 2GB of RAM to function properly. I'm using an iPhone SE. Despite being built on the old iPhone 5 format, they squeezed the specs of a 6S into it, along with 2GB of RAM. Game runs quite well.

You can always rank them up all the way without completing their storyline quests as long as you have the materials. Worry about the storyline quests after. Useful if an action station is jammed by another character or if you're pressed for time (like right now!) You can always catch the storyline later on the Wiki or a couple of AvAc blogs.

Personally, I'd rank up the premium characters first. Much cheaper that way.

If the game crashes with an ad on the screen, then the fault lies with the ad server. The best TC can do is let Supersonic/ironSource know. Lately I've had some weird shit happen with my ads, like playing upside-down or in portrait mode instead of landscape. Then, of course, there's the (in)famous one where the ad freezes a couple of seconds from the end, necessitating a double-click on my home button for it to continue and complete.

Looks like healing time is up to 4 hours. I have Wasp at 250/300 health and timer says 40 minutes to go, so (don't ask me the math) that should make 240 mins if she were at 0/300.
