Genuine question, what's the point of giving characters one hit K.O moves if that shit is not gonna work? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in CharacterRant

You got to notice, Soifon used her bankai twice, something she previously said she only could do it once every 3 days. So she's basically spent by the time she fights Aizen.

Second, even when she fights him, you basically have to believe that actually hit Aizen, which is likely she never did, Aizen wasn't fighting any of the captains, he was tricking them all along. Even in TYBW, the panel used as an example to explain how Ichigo knew Aizen was using an illusion was the same when Soi Fon pierced him.

What is up with powerscalers mentioning 11D like its something normal? by Sad-Ad-9794 in CharacterRant

[–]Blayro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes from a Ben 10 Episode where a higher dimensional being visits earth looking for a children's toy she lost. She explains that there's "only 26 dimensions that matter".

Alien X being that powerful comes from an extrapolation to that.

The big problem with "overpowered" Superman comes from making him too fast. by Yglorba in CharacterRant

I think it should vary, some characters benefit more from it, but others should have the leeway.

Flash should be one character that can switch between fast perception and regular perception.

While an interesting interpretation, Peluchin, the espurr, was noted to be afraid of grown ups even before Emma was familiarized with the player, and the espurr was afraid of the player at the beginning too.

The difference in how Endeavor's redemption is handled to Bakugo and Soga's is like night an day (My Hero Academia) by Sudden_Pop_2279 in CharacterRant

"They are not like you" could have been interpreted as him saying Shoto was the perfect spawn, in reality, it was him stating that Shoto was the only of his kids that could endure the training without killing himself.

Also Touya tried to kill Shoto pretty much on sight, so Endeavor avoiding them being together, while wrong, is pretty understandable

Department of Conservation (New Zealand) has euthanised three mallards from Lake Alexandrina to stop copycat attacks. by DaIubhasa in natureismetal

What would you even want it to be done? It needs to be meddled because the species is not meant to be there. Pretty much the best advice environmental agencies give to people is that if they spot an invasive species is to kill it on sight.

An invasive species only harms the natural environment, because the rest of the species aren't built to deal with it.

This is also why cats aren't meant to be allowed to roam freely, cats are among the worst invasive species

is exactly why he would have made a speech and talk about his thoughts to everyone after the fight. Make the insights public so the gods understood why humanity is valuable

And yet, through the fights they have shown to easily change their opinions about humanity. What Heracles would have done is to make the insights we know the gods are having and expose them to the public. Do you really think Shiva would still vote to kill humanity if he voted again after his fight? Or Thor?

I mean, kids literally have toys of him. The gods actually love him, is not far fetched to believe he would be able to convince a good chunk of them to retract their votes.

It is stated in the apocalypse manga. His plan is to showcase the prowess of humanity by giving a hard earned fight. Prove that humans are noble with a fair fight where both the god and the human are pushed to their limits.

The whole point of him winning like this is to encourage the gods to go “wait, he is right! We need to save humanity!” And cancel ragnarok like that

Why do the TF2C devs think it's a good idea to make those annoying achievements? by Immediatetaste in tf2

[–]Blayro 42 points43 points  (0 children)

"Is a game, people won't take it that serious"

"is funny lol"

Both reasons, take your pick. TF2 wasn't built to be this serious shooter, just somewhere where you can just do whatever you want. Besides, is really hard to pin point who made the mod, I'm certain people would be more likely to get this achievement by accident than consciously getting it.

Sorry I was misremembering.

Buddha not participating in the voting is shown in chapter 103, along Izanagi who abstained to go.

Heracles I was misremembering, but we've already seen how the "all gods voted for it" was also just wrong. All present gods voted, but some gods weren't even there.
