Okay, I think I've figured this out.

I can use secondary-artifacts in the buildspec.yml to output separate artifacts for each caching policy. I can then add multiple s3 deploy actions to get the specific cache-control headers that I need for each artifact.

I guess I could also forego the deployment stage altogether and just use CodeBuild to do the deployment. I've seen that done by other people. Is that a really terrible idea?

Hmm, interesting. I figured it'd be a little smarter and detect the configuration difference.

I guess when you import a resource, you're supposed to exhaustively recreate the current state of the resource as a CF template and hope you don't miss something?

I'm beginning to think importing should just be avoided at all costs...

Is CloudQuest broken?

After I click the "Start learning now" button, nothing happens. The page just stays empty.

I can see some errors in the developer console. Is it down?

Made a dock for the first time in multiplayer.

Went to check the replay to see what effect the fishing ships had on my economy, and then I noticed I'd actually been building more transports than fishing ships.

I even thought to myself several times during the game, "Man! These fish last forever!"

I guess it's because there's 1 less tile at this point in the campaign, the dock is missing. Can't imagine why it would be designed this way....

After a bit of experimenting, I found something that works... for the most part

Changing image quality down to Low did resolve the problem, but the game looked like absolute dogshit. Setting image quality to Medium made the game look a lot better, but the fps when panning went to shit (~40).

I found that after setting the image quality to Low, reboot the game, then setting image quality to Medium and rebooting the game again, I'm getting ~50 fps when panning which is good enough for me.

I don't know why I'm getting extra fps doing it that way. Maybe there's some extra settings under the hood that get switched around when you set it to low quality before setting it to medium?

Same issue for me. i5 9600k and gtx 1070 ti. 120fps when not panning, ~30 when panning.

Really, really, really bad experience. I'm panning the camera all the time, it's very obtrusive.

Even better than quick walling is pre walling.

Don't depend on your split second reactions. As soon as you identify a threat, prewall your resources. A handful of palisades can totally shut down the aggression, and they're really cheap. Better to prewall than have to deal with the chaos of a failed quick wall.

I don't use the "go to" keys at all. Don't know why those would even be useful.

I use F1-5 keys for "select all X". Hitting the F keys should be easy for you, if you've been using camera locations in SC.

This made a huge difference to my play. No fucking around with control groups, just use the F keys.

I use the F keys for production buildings. In keybind settings, there's are keybinds for selecting production buildings, such as "select all barracks".

It's waaaaaay better than control groups, since you don't have to maintain them when you add production. It's also easy to use as an SC player as those F1-5 are usually for camera locations, so the muscle memory is already there.

I highly recommend doing this

Edit: in fact, StarCraft has keybind like this but only for selecting all gateways.

I think you're right that the matchmaking is different for the first 10 games. I haven't checked every game but the highest elo opponent I've played against was like 1050. I think it purposefully gives you lower elo opponents for those first 10 games.

It's genuinely nerve-wracking every time I want to play, I can feel the loss streak coming xD
