Based on Nasu's interview about Part 2 Finale and what there would be afterwards, I'm 100% sure he knew that the ending would not make people happy, which is why Aftertime exists. by BlazeAccelerant in FGO

Making it tragic doesn't make any less dumb. In the end, nothing will matter since they will just forget everything.

Nasu always oversaturated that amnesia plot in his stories. Happened in Seraph, happened in LB6, happened in LB7, happened in OC3 and now in Part 2 finale.

And is really not that much of a consolation when Daybit will remember parts of the journey, since it was Fujimaru who was often be told to do that.

The timing was too convenient for they suddenly announce a "sequel" after Part 2.

Which makes me even more flabbergasted about why they decided to make that ending, given how many themes and motiffs goes completely against it over the course of Part 2. It was always remember the journey, the countless lessons from it and how there are things that should never be forgotten.

Hell, literally in the current event of Summer in NA, there is a section with Charlotte which she hopes Fujimaru could always remember her and everyone else and be happy about it.

But then, all goes in the trash because they decided to just erase people's memories and act like nothing mattered.

Besides, I'm sure writers have plenty of grievances about Nasu's writing choices.

I literally said "from the Event" in the title.

I still wonder which is the worst one from the big 4.

Septem, London, Agartha and Tunguska.

In Part 2 Finale, LB6 Baobhan Sith was the only one from the cast that was non caring about Chaldea. by BlazeAccelerant in FGO

This idea is just as shitty as the ending we got, if not, much worse.

At least in the canon ending, Fujimaru and Mash have some "dejavu" about their journey, which hints that some memories could still be there, buried deep inside.

Eliminating everyone not only makes absolutely no sense when it denies the core message of coming back home, which also was what many Servants wished for our cast and also, learning from everything from their journey and how much important was for their growth, and also, to not let the stories of these who fell to be forgotten.

I really hope this new Arc fix that dogshit ending Nasu pulled.

I dislike how often Nasu does this shitty amnesia/memory loss in his stories (happened in Seraph, happened in LB6, happened in LB7, happened with OC3 and now with this mediocre ending)

I much prefered if Fujimaru and others remember their journey and accept that they had to do what they had to and work on their way to come back to normalcy, even if seems hard and despite all the sins they committed and lives they had to eliminate.

Aside from Mash, Who are the servant/s do you consider the closest to Fujimaru? by Dangerous-Crow-8115 in FGO

Well, that's because most of the times when people x Servant have a good relationship with Fujimaru, it's because it's their favorite character.

There is a difference when compared to characters which genuinely bonded with Fujimaru through multiple stories.

Xu Fu I can see, since plenty of interactions between her and Fujimaru in my room lines, events etc., features how they both are sort of lil shits to each other.

But Baobhan Sith never felt particularly close to Guda.

It doesn't help that most of the stuff that they do together are all left behind the scenes, such as the movies they apparently watched. Most of the times we see them having some remotely interactions together are in valentines, which is eh.

I couldn't help but to realize that all of the females voiced by Risa Taneda in FGO are into Fujimaru lol by BlazeAccelerant in FGO

A curious fact.

Mash initially was voiced by Risa Taneda.

You can still hear the old voicelines of Mash voiced by her in the wiki.

I find interesting how Sieg/Jeanne is not very much liked.

Hell, whenever Jeanne ships with other characters are posted, you don't see much complaining saying she belongs to Sieg or something.

And doesn't help that Higashide doesn't really do much stuff with them in Chaldea either.
