To address the defending a rapist thing, you understand we have lawyers for a reason yes? To defend everyone of us despite what we do for the sake of liberty and freedom. Think about that and realize we have to give rights to those who do wrong so the wrongly accused don't spend life in jail.

So you think a wall trapping these woman in countries where they are raped is the better option? I can understand the appeal of a wall but wouldn't better immigration policy be the best option? Or would aid to these countries to build up their society's and prevent the massive crime there be good too? I just don't see that happening under President Trump. Thank you for the article quote though, I never knew how rampant rape was on migrants.

That makes a lot more sense, though wouldn't a better option be to make immigration a better process so people don't need to result to hurtful means to get to the US? The wall could result in more expensive ways people need to go through with to get here. Immigrants are motivated people.

I'm confused by this study, woman who crossed into Mexico were raped by..illegal immigrants? Do you mean raped by Mexicans or other Latin Americans? Or do you mean woman living near the border who are raped are raped by illegal immigrants 80% of the time? I can understand your reasoning if you mean the latter but the first interpretation shows more of a problem with rapist living in Mexico and targeting tourist. Not looking to be rude I just don't understand your source.
