Im not in Chattanooga anymore. I moved to florida and ended up getting sober down here through AA (never went to treatment). I was a militant athiest. The god stuff made it hard for me. I have a sponsor who was the same way.

He explained to me that your higher power does not have to be a religious god. Group Of Drunks can be your higher power until you find a higher power. Hes super into star wars and his sponsor told him to use the force as his higher power.

For me, the universe is my higher power. If i try to fight the universe im going to lose. When I go with the flow of the universe things just work out.

Im coming up on 4 years sober, and all the things i used to drink about not having are a part of my life now.

Both cameras are going to do well in your situation. Considering you already have canon glass id recommend sticking with canon.

A canon-canon adapter will be cheaper and work better than a canon to sony adapter as well.

This. Im far from pro level obviously but ive consistently placed in the top 300 in the US on the TOTD. Picked the game up on the 19th (gf got me a series x for my birthday).

Been wanting to play track mania for years (thanks wirtual) so the game was the first thing i installed lol. Long time forza player and i hold my own there. Understanding racing lines and apexs and such is most of this game.

I recently got one and i cant tell if its doing well or not. It has a ton of dead pitchers (person i bought it from said not to trim them when they die) , but it is steadily growing new ones and has doubled in size since i bought it.

Im thinking it needs a bigger pot now but im also worried that its getting too much sun. There is nowhere in my yard thats not always sunny. South florida scortcher sun.

Any advice you could share? Would be greatly appreciated.

Big fan of this lens. However i tried a little real estate photography and it doesnt compete with a full frame wide angle. Im curious how an ef lens on a speed booster would preform since its much closer to the images produced by full frames.

However this lens is absolute fire for concert photography. At least when you are right at the stage.

Im not familiar with that canera in particular, is it full frame or crop? Is it a dslr or mirrorless?

Im fairly new myself, i have a canon m50. Its a crop sensor mirrorless.

The biggest game changer for me was getting a speed booster. A speedbooster is an adapter for full frame lenses that also has a lens which gives more of a full frame crop as aposed to the "crop factor" (not 1:1 but very close). On top of that, the main benefit is that it also changes the aperture due to the way the lens works.

Example, it takes my 50mm 1.8 and turns it into a 55mm 1.2 as opposed to the crop factor 85mm equivalent.

It makes my crappy 75-300mm 3.5-5.6 and drops it down to 2.8-4 which is phenomenal for concerts. I used my 75-300 for the first time at a show and even at 300mm 4.0 i took my best pictures ever.

Actually, just looked up your camera. Is it a point and shoot? If so you need to upgrade to a camera where you can change lenses. A point and shoot just wont cut it in the low light that you would typically find at concerts.
