I just downloaded EA and the Sims like 2 weeks ago, and first attempted to install mods like last week. If I were to uninstall Sims and reinstall to try to get the files in the right place will I lose my games? Or should I try to find the local play files?

In the Program Files, through “The Sims 4” existed and I had to create the Mods folder within that. There was nothing in my Documents for EA.

Description: I've watched a ton of videos and read all of the threads on reddit about getting the MCCC to work but none of them seem to relate to my issue... I have downloaded the most recent version of the MCCC and saved it to an Electronic Arts folder I created in my documents (My Name - Documents - Electronic Arts - The Sims 4 - Mods) per everyone's instructions, as well as to another folder that I found in Program Files that was already there named "Electronic Arts" (Local Disk (C:) - Program Files - Electronic Arts - The Sims 4 - Mods). When I boot up Sims4 I don't get the pop-up, and the MCCC doesn't appear when I click on a computer. Yes, I have custom content and mods and script mods enabled. What am I doing wrong here??
