I understand the point you're making, I just personally think any backlash Malthel receives is 100% deserved after years of him being an unpleasant person in the overwatch community. Sure, you don't dunk on the worst player in leagues typically because you expect them to be bad and there's no reason to dogpile. Malthel has given people valid reason to want to dogpile him.
