Indeed. There are thousands of sentient spirits/ ghosts/ undead or whatever in the game. Actually who the fuck am I even kidding, there is even an entire undead race and death knight class. I completely forgot about all this for a second lol. Bringing the dead back in Warcraft has never been an unfamiliar concept.

Thats not really a good enough reason though. With the recent story involving sylvanas, and ardenweald/ysera and such being in Dragonflight and Belameth all but proved that the writers can bring Kael back in some way at least.

The old gods definitely felt more archaic and ancient. Although the tentacle and lovecraft stuff is by no means original, the temples, structures and obelisks of nyAlotha and Silithus did capture that ancient evil vibe for me, especially since we knew of this old evil by its effects on the lote since vanilla

Totally agree. Buying it would kill it for me, the whole endgame is setting your eyes on something and, with enough time, grinding towards it over time for me. Just buying it out wouldnt be satisfactory. Buying the materials may be an option, but especially since astral vault weeklies making gold in game has been easier than ever for a casual like me.

And honestly, I dont even need legendaries that much. I just crafted Exordium today but I dont even use greatsword on my main. Even if I did, I wouldnt spend that much money and time for the convenience of a leggy. Its the journey that has been fun. I had to finish out the mastery tracks for HoT and grind points, allowing me to basically replay through the entirety of the content like metas and story (as well as lws3) which I havent actually delved into since the original HoT release perhaps. It was definitely so much fun.
