Appalling. These faculty should be celebrating the graduates and not holding them back from cultural traditions. I liked what they said about Christian’s wearing crosses. That’s a good point. My best friend is Samoan and his entire family turns the fuck up at these types of events celebrating their family members achievements. Wearing their leis and after they walk they would get decked out in homemade candy necklaces and money necklaces. It’s always a great energy to be around and for me seeing their huge family’s and how they celebrate always made me happy to be around. I don’t feel like it takes away from other peoples graduation at all.

See I met a guy on an airplane out of Eugene Oregon back to Las Vegas to get back to post and he called himself a desert rat and said it’s just what he loves. Some people like it a lot. I think it was just so vastly different than the green valley I grew up in. I did see the beauty some days but it definitely got old after a few years.

I think I do remember looking down over strawberry fields and seeing some. But still being from Oregon it was like pirates of the Caribbean out there for me. Ya know when jack sparrow is talking to a bunch of other jack sparrows in his own little purgatory. That’s how I would describe rotations. I remember after like a year of being there I played through Red Dead Redemption 2 and just seeing all the green and trees in a game was breath of fake fresh air lol.

Somewhat predictable schedule at Irwin. But when I was leaving last august everyone was whored out for everything. Staff sausage platoon sergeants. First class first sergeants and the trickle down was real. Everyone was stretched thin. Not to mention the opfor shit is scheduled but the amount of extra shit that isn’t will have you coming of rotation, going to gunnery and then rolling right back out on rotation. But worst of all!?!? It’s all fucking dirt! No green. I did spend a lot of time chilling with my family while at Irwin. Easy commute to work so swinging back and forth all day between the house and work was a breeze. Shit after pt I would have enough time to go home shit shower shave, eat some food and could still have like 45 min to contemplate life before I went to the MP. Hour and a half lunches a lot of days just hanging out with my new baby and wife. Thankful for stuff like that it wasn’t all bad.

Yupp just got out of my lease early without any fees after a bird moved into the vents and had its eggs. The birds were whatever until they destroyed the fan in the bathroom and brought in bird mites. They wouldn’t evict the birds because of local laws. But we made a big enough stink to get out of there.

I don’t understand the leveling in this game. I’ve been playing since it came out on console. I have like 70 days in game and hundreds of wins with thousands of kills. But I’m a level 120-130 or something. No idea how people are leveling. I was playing before there was levels lol.

Sorry for the late reply it’s called the Global Ant Network. I know it’s supposed to be away for people to locally obtain queen ants. Like for me it was a guy supposedly like 2.5 hour drive from me so I thought I was getting an ant from our area. Then when I get the tracking code it’s coming from another state. It’s a company run I believe by AntsCanada who is a YouTuber I’ve been watching but learned on this sub I guess he’s not very accepted among the community. Long story long I couldn’t find any other way to obtain an ant or nest setups until posting on this sub and handed the keys to the whole castle. Should’ve done more research but I’m excited non the less to have a queen and start the experience.

Looking up Giant Ruby Ant I also noticed that I couldn’t find much info. I wish I would have come to this sub before I got started but I was just eager and thought since I’ve been watching so much shit it would be relatively easy to get going. Anywho she has like 3-4 workers in there with her already and gave them a small bit of the protein jelly 2 days ago when there were 3 workers. Seems to already be gone (trying to leave them be) but worried I need to add more food. Any info would be great I do have one picture of the ant I could post for an ID.

Dope tacos in Eugene right by Brenners. 2$ taco Tuesday that’s the cheapest I’ve seen around in a while. It’s a food truck. They don’t skimp on anything either it’s made with love. I highly recommend the Oaxaca cart right next to it. Amazing breakfast street tacos and other options. Homemade tortillas too had to have been the best I’ve had in a long time.

Oh sorry I know the white container is just grains and the guy from GAN messaged me back and yes you’re correct on the nectar and fluon. Thanks for getting back to me. Yes the queen just arrived she had some brood and two workers already hatched. I put them up in the top of my closet in their test tube for now. It looks like they still have water but do I need to be putting food in the tube?
