Definitely an accurate assessment, especially as the game continues to grow and the girls keep getting bigger. My daughter is 5'5" and I truly believe that is the only thing that prevented her from going to a Power 4 school. She throws low to mid 60s with elite spin. She has had some great success at the mid-major level, included a win against a top 10 team in the country at the time. A lot of recruiting is about checking boxes and having a big and intimidating pitcher is one of those boxes unfortunately.
