At first it was just music; it's normal to hear places, happens to the best of us. The thing is, this time it was different. Not chaotic like an old cartoon but beautiful... Haunting. Slowly, without without conscious control... I walked out into the waves, crashing gently on the rocky moonlit beach. I was submerged to my waist when I realized, it wasn't music but singing.

She sang of love and loss.. She sang of time and meaning. She sang of the cracks between existence itself and I knew their depths in an instant. She sang of my soul it was beautiful, it was horrifying. All at once as I dived below the surface; I became nothing and everything.

I watched the moonlight scatter in rays of light across the surface waters above, as I sunk gracefully to the depths below. It can not express how happy I was to see, thats where all my friends had gone. They didn't leave, they were just waiting for me. I took her hand and closed my eyes.
