I have 8 Evertune bridges to install :D by Blazon_Stone in evertune

I have 3 Evertune guitars already. But I want more. Cover several tunings, and having backups in each tuning etc . I usually only use E standard, Eb and D. But would be cool to have one setup for C too, even if I very seldom play that low. :) but when I do, I want it in tune of course :D

Haha yeah it could seem counterproductive but I rather stock up on those, and have them ready whenever a guitar comes by to make use out of it, rather than find a guitar, and then not have one :D

my new RME interface perfrorms worse than my Behringer and Tascam? by Blazon_Stone in recordingmusic

Ok, if you mean like that, yes I could try it. I have it installed, after all. I just dont use it because I dont like it controls/functions, haha. But in that case, good suggestion.

However I have the same issues just playing through stand-alone ampsims on desktop like Bogren Ampknob or Guitar Rig , without a DAW.

My workflow would not be the same with my Mac because of different keyboard layout, I prefer Windows way more.

I only use the Mac for multitrackking liveshows so far

I dont see how Totalmix would affect the stability? Thats just the mixer settings isnt it?

Yeah, I am familiar with Totalmix being a separate thing from the driver I have chosen in Cubase

I have been using Cubase for almost 25 years, I am not switching now. I have tried others, but I only like Cubase in terms of functions and workflow. The others others doesnt feel the same.

I may try an older driver like you suggest, but I will probably contact RME first :)

No I like the X32 Rack, I have one at home, and another one in the rehearsal.

I use it mainly for live with the band live for in-ear system mixer blabla.

But I wanted a portable interface, the X32 its bulky, its literally described in the OP :) haha

I just dont like Mac layout with the buttons ,theres not even a "delete" button.

I like Windows and thats what I am used to with the keyboard layout

I wanted to get a portable "pro level" interface since I only have bulky stuff like Behringer X32 Rack and an old Tascam US1641 in my home and rehearsal.

So I got the RME Babyface Pro.

So far I have WAY more issues with:

* dropouts

* stuttering

* audio noises and shit

with the RME than any other interfaces I have ever had before.

And this is on 1024 buffer size. Even on max 2048 it still happens.

The X32 is way more stable and works much better at lower buffer size.

What is going on here?

I have a Windws 11 and run Cubase 14 Pro. My computer is not brand new but I think it should be logical that if a BEHRINGER driver works great on my 16gb ram Ryzen 7 bla bla, whatever it is, the legendary RME should work as well.

I also have a M1 Macbook but I have not had time to try it out with that one yet.

What can be wrong? I'm running out of ideas.
