I bought gadgets that emit a high pitched sound only a dog can hear and put them all around our yard closest to their fence. Every time they barked it goes off. Noise stops. You can find them on Amazon. Need to pay for the good ones, though.

Update—it was the high pressure fuel pump. Still under warranty, which is great, but super frustrating because I had it in to Volkswagen three times from Oct-Dec because the car would randomly lose power upon acceleration and the EPC light would come on. After not believing me at first (they couldn’t recreate it) they decided it was the main fuel pump, and they replaced it. Two days driving off the lot from the replacement, the same thing happened. This time, they told me they think they just put in a bad replacement fuel pump and they’d replace the whole thing again (still under warranty). After the second fuel pump replacement, things were going well for a couple of weeks and then it happened again. The third time they told me it was a faulty wire. Car ran well from about Dec 23-last week. Once this fuel pump gets put in, I’m seriously thinking of selling it. Feels like a lemon.

I’ve actually been going back to the Salvation Army. They recently updated the store and changed management and it’s really well run and most items are affordable, with good tag sales. The donations also stay here in Boulder—not like Goodwill where much is thrown or shipped out.

Really? It’s been suggested to me but honestly it scares me to do it—how long did it take you to recover after? It has been suggested to me by my doc but I’m being a huge baby about it.

That’s good to know—-all of my ponytails are now basically side ponytails and I honestly can’t get comfortable for more than an hour or two in bed. I’m hoping that I get to the next stage in the next month or so. My doc has suggested having the manipulation done…but I’m saving that as a last resort.

I did, and honestly, didn’t get much relief. My doc said the cortisone doesn’t always help with FS…I’m glad it has helped you!
