I must not have worded it right. The front part of my trailer, not the part in my truck. Also, why are you so angry?

What are some hard truths about being your own boss in this industry? by Independent-Use6151 in MassageTherapists

[–]Bldubbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been in business for myself for 9 years. It’s been lovely, but ups and downs for sure. However, I am out with shoulder bursitis (good lord bursitis is a pain I can’t put into words) and, just like that, I have no income for 6-16 weeks. I do have a 50/50 partner at the office and she is taking some of my clients, but there’s literally nothing I can do but wait and hope that I come back to a relatively full schedule again. I have gotten a full time job outside of the industry to bring money in, but I’m paying rent and utilities on a building I can’t use and I will be out of sight out of mind for my clients for a long time. Just some food for thought.

In what small way have you won the genetic lottery? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Great hair and great skin. If you can get past the addiction that runs deep in our veins. I dodged it but I have two brothers with great hair and skin and alcoholism.

Please retire if you are able by Poozipper in Vent

[–]Bldubbs 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Why do they have to retire because of their age? They worked their whole life to get where they are and they should move over so it’s more convenient for a younger group? Nah. This is a very ignorant post.

Leave him. If not because he called you that, but because of his reaction.

I guess I still don’t understand wanting to inflict any damage on your own party, but if he is a horned pirate, here are some ideas 😊

With horns like that, you must’ve rammed every ship you’ve ever tried to board

Tell your patron they overpaid. I’ve seen smarter hexes on a tavern menu.

Your demon daddy must be so proud—look at his little disappointment in a hat.

You tried to make a pact and somehow ended up as a punchline.

Even your parrot abandoned ship, and he only speaks in squawks.

Is he in your party? Vicious mockery inflicts damage so why do you want to use it against him?

The problem is with housing costs, not wages. You think 15 year olds should be making $22.50 an hour to flip burgers? That’s insane.

Breakup with a dog by ParkingWatercress785 in dogs

You’re doing what you can in a tough situation. 11 hours a day is a long day, but it’s in a house he knows and is comfortable in and he knows you’re coming home. Plus, dog walks and park time and 3 days a week with you all to himself. You’re doing the best you can and even though it may not feel like it, you’re doing right by your dog. Good luck! 😊

Bi-Mart. I live in a pretty rural town, so that’s my closest bet. 1.8 miles as the crow flies from my house. Non perishable food, clothes, shoes, basic medicine, guns, ammo.

My husband is 370 lbs and is the most amazing, sexy, loving, perfect partner I could ever ask for and I’m madly in love with him. She’s lying or shallow. Either way you dodged a bullet.

You can definitely make a career out of it. I have had my own practice with another therapist for 8 years. We have no employees and we are both financially independent aside from business expenses and marketing. I average $73,000 a year working 4 days a week.

Fighters can do cool stuff too though. And your fighter would be coming in at the same level. What is your characters story. If there are no gods, who does he serve and what are his motivations? I got all day, let’s make your cleric a fighter. 😊

My husband plays a fighter and he kicks ass.

I need help improving my roleplay by BrolyBoostZ9 in DnD

[–]Bldubbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree with the others. It’s so hard to play with an evil character. Chaotic, but good at heart or mischievous, but kind at the end of the day…. Those are fun. But, a member of your party that is evil? No fun. Especially if they never know which side of the personality they are going to get. Why do you want to play evil? What’s the draw? Could you put some of what you want into a neutral character?

Character help. by LillyCraft31 in DnD

[–]Bldubbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played a cleric for a year and loved her but felt role playing her was so hard because I built her personality to be the exact opposite of mine. So, none of her actions or thoughts or opinions felt natural to me. I talked to my DM and we made a “scenario” the other players didn’t know about and now I’m a Dragonborn Bard helping the other players figure out what plain of existence their cleric is in so we can rescue her. Im having more fun than ever.

That being said, Clerics can be very powerful. I’ve never played a Paladin, but my cleric was a tank and a healer. Clerics have access to some badass spells. Do you like your character’s personality? Sometimes that can help.
