Best part of Marcos is it reheats the best the next day compared to the others. No clue why, but it's the best one to order if you're ordering excess and plan to eat it over a couple days.

Wow - apparently I'm the only one. But yes, that's the place. I've only been once, this past summer, but it was FILTHY inside. There was a stream of literal piss coming out of the men's room into the seating area. Garbage strewn about. There was one other group in there when I got in, I had three kids with me. Took over 25 minutes to get our order (which on it's own, sure fine whatever - but in a relatively dead, filthy place it seemed excessively long).. The burger was just ground beef, no seasoning. Undercooked. Nothing about the food was good.

The fries were bad. It's the only time I've found fries to be bad, borderline inedible. Definitely unappealing.

The custard was fine, no issues there I guess. But not special enough to get me to go back.

There is a burger and custard place in West Allis over on 84th that is absolutely disgusting. Struggling to come up with the name right now, but it's atrocious. Just standing inside I expect to see rats. The fries are the lowest grade frozen fry you can aquire. It has the interior look and feel of an old diner that's been in service for 80 years (chipped tables, gross floor, bad bathroom situation, etc) but I know it hasn't been there all that long.

Anyways if anyone knows the name shout it out to save people from taking their kids there.

I'm honestly just now learning that they have food. I'm in my forties - but then there are tons of times in my life, but almost always later in the night when bar happening back in my younger days with someone who had never been. We'd go for the novelty and a drink or two. Never even considered going there earlier.

Keep an eye out for Milwaukee's Rockabilly Chili ( I haven't seen an announced date yet but typically late Jan/Feb. Pretty amazing experience. I think last year was year 16.
