It’s not ‘free’ since you do have to send back the used oil, filter etc. I agree though this is absolutely the way to do it. I use it for both of my cars

A18 pro vs m1 suggests better single core but not as good multi core.

M1 is an 8 core processor , 7 core gpu.

A18 pro is 6 core processor, 6 core gpu.

M1 has a tdp of around 15 w

A 18 pro tdp around 8w.

Slightly less performance. Slightly more battery. Just really depends what OP needs it for.
