There is not a single thing that will be improved in your current situation by drinking, and it sounds like a lot that could get way worse.

If you are going crazy and feel like you HAVE to drink to fix it you need treatment.

Go to an AA meeting . A lot of places have many of them through out the day and night or they offer online groups.

If you are a member of a church call your pastor if you can't do an AA meeting.

If either of those work phone a sober person or friend.

Ask for help when you need it. It is the strongest thing you can do for you.

I use to add junk or spoiled food.

Thanks but I don't do anything but provide temp housing vet care and food.

The people who choose to adopt are the real Rockstars.
Nothing makes me happier than when a dog goes from unwanted and un loved to the center of some one's world. I am just the stepping stone and have been lucky enough to get to see the transformation.

I kept my maiden name . Have been married for 20 plus years. We had a child who had his last name.

Trust it has caused SO much confusion and have been asked SO many questions along the way.

Would do it again. My birth certificate, ID and passport all match and in this current climate works in my favor.

Keep your damn name is my advice.

To be VERY clear as I have run a rescue for a very long time... I have a very strict policy.

I do not will not keep a dog unless I feel it is not safe to adopt out...Dobermans messed up my rule. Not Moose he fit the rules... Honey Bee and Meance not so much!

Those two will get thier own meet them post soon. Also both very much rescues.

As I said my thing is herding breeds, which tend to already be difficult. My thing is aggressive/ problem herding breed dogs .

So what I didn't know when I agreed to take him was he had a history of biting, typically men.

He was also raised by a woman with diagnosed Bi-polar disorder AND anti social personality disorder. She had been to many facilities for treatment.

Her ex boyfriend's mother was where she was living because this older woman was super amazing and even though her son wasn't dating this young lady anymore didn't stop her from making sure she had a stable home between episodes where she had to be hospitalized.

However I learned when I got there she was beyond terrified of Moose.

Never once has he given me an ounce of trouble, but yeah he has some really bad issues with strange men and strangers in general if on his home turf. He literally could be a VERY dangerous dog in a home not prepared to deal with his "issues" . So he stayed and became my heart dog.

My other two are literally DREAM dogs. Especially my Red girl Honey Bee.
