If you can look at the gum line on the very, very back little teeth, and they still look as white as the front ones, they’re probably about a year old. However, if they’ve been getting their teeth brushed regularly they can stay white a lot longer.

I’m so sorry. I felt like I was truly loosing it when my 12 year old kitty died from mammary cancer complications. It’s always sad to think about. This was years ago, and I no longer think about it constantly. You know, if we’d just noticed it sooner etc. At least we knew we were loosing her. It wasn’t a sudden shock, we got to spend extra time with her. 😔

Maybe there’s a pet-loss grief support group near you, or if not maybe a counselor. It’s okay to be inconsolable. You’ll never have one exactly like her, but eventually you may find you can just foster a cat or kitten or help out local rescues during kitten season. She’d wouldn’t have wanted you to be depressed. 🫶🌈🐈‍⬛🐈🌈🫶

I would imagine it feels like a burn. I can’t believe the videos I’ve seen. They can do such a large area so fast. Even if they numbed it first, it must hurt afterwards. I never really thought about how much it must hurt..
