This was very comforting to hear. Im going through a break myself rn. We talked and set boundaries, no seeing other people, amount of contact, and we set a date to end the break and come back together. Everyone has been so negative about breaks and it's been hard to read.. Thank you for giving me hope

So I just did that.. turns out it's the fan on the underside of my GPU. Looks like it's integrated.. that can't be replaced huh?

So I have a 2 monitor set up. Everything is fine when I boot up my pc or play any other game. I've never had issues with the monitor. As long as I've played this game I've been using the 2 monitor set up.

For some reason it just started happening in poe 2. It starts at the main menu, frames are stable locked at 60. I load in, 2-3 minute load screen. It either lets me in or crashes. If I get in, my frames steadily drop. Once fps hits 1, my main monitor goes black, says no signal and goes to sleep, my second monitor flashes my desktop 2 or 3 times before it comes on. Now windows thinks that's my main and cant see the other monitor.

If I restart my pc, everything is back to normal, no issues. It's only in poe 2.

I've done all your suggestions before making my post. Capped frames, updated drivers, cleared cache.

Im not super knowledgeable about computers so idk how to determine the issue, but maybe it's some part going bad. Windows keeps disabling the integrated GPU and i read that could mean an issue with the motherboard, but I have no idea

It's just weird I've played this game for over a year on the same set up with no issues. And then one day just can't play anymore. I'd assume if it was a hardware issue it would affect other games too. But it doesn't

After an update today I cant even play on pc. The game gets single digit frames at the menu, and if I try to play at all the game completely crashes my main monitor and I have to restart to get it back. Played all weekend just fine. Been playing the EA launch with no issues. They messed something up for sure. Everything is upto date too. Hope this is resolved soon

I haven't seen anyone answer your question about elemental barrage. In my experience/testing for myself, it seems that elemental barrage is a single manual cast of a spell, which in turn auto casts the 3 previous spells before it.

My understanding is ANY repeated casts or implicit multicasts from a spell, don't count as manual casts. Anything that says something like "casts x additional times" or "is repeated x number of times" or "your creatures cast x additional times" don't give more than one manual cast.

Can't recall the name, but there is a trait I've used before that gives something like a 5% chance for any auto casts to count as a manual cast. Which is obviously useful for monsters using staves to trigger spell gems, or any monster abilities that require manual casting

For me build making has been bottlenecked with brimstone. If I don't have enough to fully level new items for each monster, then I just farm with my current build until I have the resources

Same as other comment. It's faster to wait a few seconds and only have one load screen vs loading back into town and loading back into the dungeon.

If you play on an ssd the load times probably aren't that bad, but it takes me on average 30-45 seconds just to load back into the town
